Nah, sorry, but Japan is not doing a traditional German Christmas market and German Christmas decorations better than Germany. Way too commercialized and plastic in Japan. Also, you need to have such a market in a little medieval town market with cute half-timbered houses surrounding you for the genuine atmosphere, and you are not going to find that in Japan.
@@mimamo Considering Christmas is a western culture and non-native to Japan, it's good enough. Obviously Germany, Europe and even the US will do decorations and markets better. However, Japan is a cheaper option than Germany to take a trip there due to low value yen and enjoy decent light illuminations. German Christmas markets are better than those of Japan's Christmas markets in terms of food to other items, but while the food is decent they can be expensive. Japan has many cheaper food options in most restaurants and bars as they are open on Christmas in Japan the fact that its not a holiday unlike Germany and you get the most out of your money, that is why most foreign tourists in Japan don't go to the Christmas markets there as they can do that in Europe.

You do get Japan isn’t a christian country at all, right? No they don’t do nativity or other Jesus stuff, Christmas is an excuse for shopping and date night ( a bit like valentines actually). Oh & cake 🎂! Cafe & cake (& kfc 😅)- are Japan Xmas things! No Jesus stuff at all 😲Excellent place to have Xmas😃
Japan is a Shinto-secular nation, Christianity is a minority. You won't find Christian type of Christmas displays like the Birth of Christ. The close to a Christian related Christmas display is Santa Claus or the Christmas star and other related decorations. The rest is more later secular Christmas culture.
