This Christmas, we ditched the snow and reindeer for something a little more tropical! Join us as we take our kids on an epic adventure to the island paradise of Palawan in the Philippines.
Our journey begins in Puerto Princesa, where we hop on a plane and soar over stunning islands and turquoise waters. After a quick two-hour drive, we arrive at our home for the next few days: Sabang Beach. This little slice of paradise is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun, but we're not here to just lie on the beach (although we did plenty of that too!).
First up, we take on the Sabang X Zipline, soaring through the jungle canopy and getting an adrenaline rush like no other. Then, it's time to explore the underwater world on a mangrove paddle boat tour. We spot colorful fish, playful monkeys, and even a few cheeky crabs.
No trip to Palawan would be complete without staying in a traditional Filipino beach hut, and our little cabin at Daluyon Beach and Mountain Resort was the perfect place to call home. With its private balcony overlooking the beach and hammocks strung between the palm trees, it was the ultimate chill spot.
This Christmas, we made memories that will last a lifetime. Palawan is a truly magical place - we cant wait to share all of it with you!
