Merry Christmas everyone! It was a gorgeous day today to enjoy the Riga Christmas Market here in Latvia. We had some delicious traditional Latvian food and drinks!

Hey!! I want to spend christmas there this year, can you tell me if they tend to close shops on the 25th? just want to know if i'll be able to eat out on that date since it's a big holiday :) if you have any recommendations regarding pandemic traveling, please let me know! haven't buy my tickets yet. Yea, that hot mulled wine goes a long way to make a chilly, gray day more bearable. If you get up to Tallinn they'll claim that they started the tradition of putting up a Christmas tree but that Riga was the first to put up a publicly decorated tree. Me? I'm just glad someone did it. Enjoy and Priecīgus Ziemassvētkus! ;-)
