THE IDEA behind the slideshow and the video: (This idea is more prominent on the video, but the slideshow has some of it, as well. I have not uploaded the video yet.)
Modest Mussorgsky wrote an orchestral composition; and monumental piano solo version which gave Barry Douglas the win and gold medal in the 1986 International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition. Mussorgsky titled his work “Pictures at an Exhibition”, based on a set of paintings by his artist and architect friend Viktor Hartman. There is a “Promenade” theme that runs throughout the composition. Imagine a set of paintings on a sidewalk and onlookers walking and admiring each one of the paintings as they stroll from one painting to the next. As the admirers stop in front of a painting, a melody that has to do with that painting plays. As the crowd moves to the next painting, the recurring melody (Promenade motif) plays. The whole thing culminates at The Great Gate of Kiev. The same idea was used by the Czech composer Smetana with his “The Moldau” from Má vlast (My… Fatherland?, Motherland?, Country?). As the river runs its course through the countryside, the towns, a wedding, etc. are featured through music as the river rushes onward.

How did you get your water to look so great?

So do you have a video that shows how you did the water?

No, I do not think I have a video on how I made the water. But I saw another one of your comment on another video asking about the snow. To answer that question...No, I do not use baking soda. I use Woodland Scenics' Soft Flake Snow SN140. This is an inactive powder, unlike baking soda that is an active chemical and if it comes in contact with the building, it will eat through the finish of that building, and other elements of the same. If you slide the play-head to23:01 on the above video, you will see the snow containers with the yellow and black label. I used 7 of those containers on this display.

Thank for visiting, and for your comment! Department 56 has not introduced the WTC Tower. So, I created the World Trade Center Tower from scratch. I used acrylic sheets, Styrene strips and "frosted" plastic. I placed a strip of multi-colored LED lights strip inside. In the near future I am planning on uploading a "how-to" of how I made the tower.

@@someofmyfavoritethings6787 I think that would be an excellent idea if you’re able to do a demonstration on how you created it. Excellent work.
