We got a sad holiday. I lost my Mum to cancer last Monday. But going to do my upmost to still make it special fpr my daughters. ( 9 years and a 10 monther )
Thank you for this. What Calvin did brought back a beautiful/awesome memory of my beautiful daughter when she was about 1.5 years old. I was in the kitchen starting to make dinner. My daughter was in her room playing, or so I thought. But, after a while I noticed how quiet it was, so I called out for her and there was no answer. So, I made my way to her room and she wasn't there. I turned around and the bathroom that I had just cleaned, I found her sitting on what was my once clean floor, was covered with Vaseline. Not just the floor, but the cabinets, the door, the rug, and the tub. But, she didn't stop there; she had Vaseline on herself (clothes and head/hair). She looked up at me with her beautiful bright blue eyes and and smiled as she was so proud of herself. I just smiled back at her and told her that I loved her very much. I gave four a baths that afternoon. I first cleaned the floor up so that we won't slip and fall and started her bath. I was lucky that there was shower with a hose. Anyway, it took about four washes to finally remove the Vaseline. Again, thank you for this great memory. Merry Christmas to all.
Loved this vlog. I laughed so many times. My favorite is Jackson calling himself a goose. I laughed out loud for that one. Thank you for bringing sunshine to a gloomy PA day. 💕
CALVIN IS SO CUTE. I still can't believe how much he's talking it was so cute when e was sticking his tongue out saying rawr it's so cute. Also it was so cute when Jackson put his underwear on his head😂😂 I hope Jackson tooth gets better😊
Cavin is 2 months older than y brother and hes starting to talk more too and today I went downstairs and he look at me and said "hi sister" for the first time! ahhhhh it melted my heart!
I love how you handles the lotion mess. No reason to get angry or frustrated. Calvin's reaction to it is priceless! Beats what I did when I was a year old. I took my dirty diaper, crawled into the TV unit and wiped the contents of the diaper all over our VHS tapes, the unit, and myself. My poor parents.

The slippers will help but a foot file and either body butter or a lanolin-based heal cream will be invaluable! I used to get those kinds of cracks when I was 120 lbs heavier than I was. All surfaces are hard and damaging when you walk heel-first and you're that heavy. Soaking with Johnson's Foot Soap in as hot water as you can stand, then scrape with the foot file and apply the cream. Eventually, you'll "fix" the cracks and then just maintain as needed. Ellie you have a golden heart, I started to watch you videos about 2 months ago and I have just loved the way you communicate with your kids I always put in my mind that I want to be the best mom I can be when I grow up and your the one that inspired me to be myself and to be nice and caring to other people just like you.

I'll spending Christmas at my home in the Colorado mtns (8.5" of new snow!). My mom and dad will be here, and my two pups and kitty! Couldn't be more thankful!
hahahah Calvin and the lotion incident reminds me of my little brother when he was around the same age as him- he decided to get into the vaseline and "gel" his hair like my dad did..after "gelling" his hair, he gelled his eyelashes, eyebrows, face, body, EVERYTHING!!! lol

I love this time of year. today we got our xmas decorations up and it finally feels like xmas. on Xmas day I will be singing in church with the worship band and then go home for a relaxing day. I will be going up to the Midlands to see my dad's family for new year (second xmas). i loved th ending made me reflect on the day Ive just had which was emotional, unveiled my nanas grave stone today been 10 months and three weeks since she passed. It still feels like yesterday that she passed. A longer hard battle for the past twenty plus years finally at rest.
Penny is getting so big! She makes such a nice addition to your family, she's just so darn cute. Jared, my heels are so torn up from our hardwoods too, I'm seriously thinking of getting carpet instead.
