Oatmeal White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies -
Ingredients
1/2 C unsalted butter softened
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 C light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 C all purpose flour
1 1/2 C old fashioned oats
3/4 C white chocolate chips see notes
3/4 C dried cranberries
Instructions
In a large bowl or stand mixer, cream together butter with granulated sugar and light brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla, followed by next four ingredients. Scrape bowl as needed. Mix in flour, followed by old fashioned oats. Mix until just combined and no streaks remain. Stir in chocolate chips and dried cranberries by hand.
Refrigerate dough for 30-60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
Scoop dough using a medium cookie scoop. Space 2-3 inches apart on prepared baking sheet. If desired, top off with additional chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Lightly press down on each cookie to flatten slightly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are just set. Allow cookies to rest on the pan for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container for up to a week

I LOVE Amy's style. The critics here are probably the ones who like the 7 million YTers who do the same flocked trees, word signs and bright red decorations, and use the same 2 Epidemic Sound songs year after year. One thing I've learned about humanity in my relatively short life is that most people are followers and have very little originality.

First, I really think if you start with greenery and twinkle lights, you can make ANY colour scheme look festive! All my early decorating is very neutral and calming, then when we get our fresh tree for the family room, it’s a colour explosion. The peaceful colours help me relax into the season, then a week or two before the big day we start to build energy and excitement with all the colours and glitz! Definitely loving your decor. ❤

I absolutely LOVE your neutral decor choice! It looks so elegant! A florist tip: you can use a kenzan (flower frog) or some chicken wire rolled in a ball to stabilize your hydrangeas arrangement. It works both for fresh and dried flowers. ❤

I love the real touch faux cedar and pine garlands and wreaths. Beats having to vacuum all the time😅. I really love your color choices. I never do “traditional” colors for any holiday. I love the colors gray, black and white and I go back and forth with those. I have ribbons in gray velvet and silk, white velvet and silk and black velvet and silk. This year it’s black velvet’s turn. I like seasonal and holiday decor to melt right in with my everyday decor. ❤

I always love your decor Amy. This video was no exception. Your natural tones are terrific. I especially liked the little pot, where you put the dried arrangement. Nevermind people who don't like it. Everybody has their own personal preferences. Simple you don't like the color scheme, then don't decorate your home with it.
