When I saw your Christmas MANTEL tutorial surface in my RU-vid feed, all my Christmas nerve endings (so all of my nerve endings), lit-up and started dancing around like they were inflatable wacky waving arm tubes in front of a used-car lot on a Saturday morning. Wooo Hooo! Thank you. I love it, and I'm only 2:42 into it. Also, my mantels, and the folks that will be posing for pictures in front of them in the coming months, send their gratitude for: you to: you as well! Game changing things I learned: Layering three $19 Walmart garlands does NOT equal one $57 Camden garland. Garlands belong on the top of the mantel, not nailed-yet-still-somehow-falling-off the front of the mantel. Lights go on last, not before only to be kept in dark from the ribbons and ornaments. There are way more game changers in this video, but these are my biggies. Thank you again.

Best vid ever! Got more of the info(a price tag)and almost all the technique. Going to need some close ups eventually but I like the direction this is going. Always entertaining but now becoming practical. Sooo close to giving you all my money. Living outside the US has its drawbacks.

Totally agree about the pre-lit situation. I have a 9ft tree that I love and the whole centre burnt out! 😢. I took all the lights off and now do the old fashioned way of winding lights through it. This mantle is stunning! 🎄🇨🇦🎄

It’s a very narrow set, and I am decorating what you are looking at… It definitely creates for some complication, so thankfully, you can hear my voice and hopefully my instruction.
