Alicia! This was fabulous! When you opened the signed book, I saw you reading the letter and I gasped! I said out loud, gtfo, omg it's signed. Then you said it's signed? Walt says, yeahhhh 🤗 I cried! The first Christmas I remember is when my lovely Mama had all the presents for the entire family wrapped and under the tree. She left to go to an early morning Mass on Christmas Day when my father was asleep. My brother and I got up at 2 and 4 years old and opened every present under the tree - including the ones that weren't for us. Mom came home and was like, OMG. It's those things that make the best holiday memories.

What a joy to watch Christmas morning "unwrap" with you! I love the way they choose when/what open. Guinevere opens, checks it out, and moves on to the next, Anastasia gets to know each gift and plays with each one before moving on. Aww, what little cuties being very organized with opening their gifts. So great to have it all on video. My kids and grandkids are all grown up, but I have enjoyed seeing all this! My favorite gifts were their colorful name signs, so pretty to hang up in their bedroom or family room. It will help them learn to spell their names! I know Mom and Dad are probably exhausted, but this was very nice to watch! Hope everyone gets a good nights sleep tonight. Guin has such a good imagination as soon as she opens the plastic food she starts acting like she's eating out and shouts "cookie" and Ana was getting a Lil miffed that her sister was getting all these wonderful toys not understanding that she had everything double! I don’t think Ana got miffed about her sister being gifted so many gifts. While she did check out some of her sister’s loot, being naturally curious, she wasn’t upset about it not being hers. They both enjoyed the experience in their own way.

Alicia and Walt, thanks for inviting us to spend some time on Christmas morning with you, Guinevere and Anastasia. I laughed how Guin just powered through opening her gifts, while Ana took her own sweet time. Guin's reaction to her dinosaur lighting up and chomping was hysterical. She got a little scared that dino may try to nibble on her sweet toes! I hope she warms up to the goat...she seemed a bit terrified of it. Maybe if she sees Mom and Dad play with it, she will be reassured? Ana loved her sweet little lamb, and it looks so cute walking, drinking a bottle and burping! Walt's gifts were so thoughtful (some first editions - WOW), and those clues he drew were so creative and fun, too! I can't wait to see your gift to him, Alicia. Walt didn't want to open his gift on stream, he's a bit shy and doesn't like to draw too much attention. I got him a signed, used drum head from his favorite band and poster from the same concert the drum head was used at. 🤗💗💗
I would also agree that they're very very smart because Mom and Dad are standing beside them and helping them grow up. This is a beautiful example how well children listen to parents that parents guide them and you're showing them you're doing excellent a great example to our society very well developed children very well. What a special Christmas for the Barton family. I watched part before my sister family dinner, part last night when I got home, and the remainder this morning.The drawings and gifts from Walt were beyond words. The first editions and the Stephen King's signing are truly amazing. I have always deeply loved books because suddenly you are transported to a different place and time. Releases your imagination. The twins were cutie pies as always. Ana in the video wearing her necklace and bracelet and drinking from her pretend Orange Julius cup. After each present opening, she wanted to examine the gift and start playing with it. Guin just wanted to move from present to present. The sitting down and back up was so comical. The marker/chalk board will have drawings and later writings for so many years to come. The individual personalities of the girls are really showing. That must be so fulfilling for Mom and Dad. For your precious family, I hope 2024 brings good health, family fun, and watching Ana and Guin experiencing all the joys of life.
Wonderful time watching your Christmas morning. Thank you for sharing. One suggestion. Next time the girls are getting the same gift, it might help to wrap both presents together. That way when the present is opened each girl can put her present in a separate pile of her own. I felt like Ana didn't understand she had the same thing as Gwen. She kept wanting to see what Gwen got. It might cut down on the confusion since Gwen goes through them like a buzz saw and Ana likes to play with each one as she gets them. I am probably being a back seat driver, but I thought it might help next time. Love to you "all" and a very Merry Christmas. 2024 is going to be a blast at your newly remodeled home. Hopefully this home will be the one that the girls grow up in. Moving is the pits, especially for the children.
I’m enjoying Christmas with my favorite twins on RU-vid! Such a joy to see the happiness on their faces as they open and enjoy their Christmas presents! Gwen doesn’t like the large ones that moves, while Ana just dives right in, very interesting to see their reactions to there presents as they open each gift! So much fun to watch! I truly enjoyed watching your girls opening presents. I don’t have any little kiddos anymore. My youngest granddaughter is 19. I remember the year snowed in Alabama on Christmas. We had a grand old time throwing snowballs at each other. And building miniature snowmen.

Watched this last night (I'm in the UK) after a long drive back from visiting family and what a lovely way to unwind with a festive drink and see you ones full of excitement and enjoying their day. Guin in particular was really into the present-opening theme and after opening her gift and handing it to you saying "Me - thank you" was adorable. Love how Ana wants to look at her gifts in detail and play with them before moving on 🥰❤ - she hadn't cottoned on to the fact she had her own pile of presents till later - so cute. Great to see the girls open their presents. You got a good camera angle and it was good to see more of dada with the girls. Good also to see a little of your couple relationship. The girls are good at expressing their little fears safe in the knowledge that one of you will be there to comfort them. And their language is developing so well. They will be 2 in February and they are certainly developing well in so many ways. How did you learn to be there so well for them. The extended family is great for them too. Jak, Jak brings smiles to their faces always. And lastly thanks for sharing them with us. Happy Christmas and all the best for 2024. I look forward to seeing how their toddlerhood develops.
I am watching you the day after. I was able this year to spend my Christmas with my daughter's family in KC MO so I enjoyed watching my older Grandkids open presents but i am lovingthis now!
