My parents both died this past year, my mom only a few months ago. Christmas Eve was very special for us growing up and even as we got older it was still beautiful and magical. Hear I am sitting on my bed trying to get to sleep at 5:44am in September and almost crying at the thought of being around family during Christmas day and having fun. It’s July and I’m listening to this. Christmas is my favorite time of the year even if the cold kicks my butt and puts my asthma in crazy mode. The music, the calming glow of the lights, the hot cocoa, the surprising yet satisfying sharp cold feeling after stepping out of a warm building, waking up on Christmas Day and opening presents with the people that matter most, wearing winter clothes is a highlight of Christmas. When the festivities are over it leaves you with an empty feeling, but gets you excited for next year. If I could, I would make every single day Christmas Day, but then it wouldn’t be that special.

I listen to this all year round wih my son. It reminds me of the magical times that i would have with my family during Christmas. The Xmas eve party and get together on Xmas day.
