This movie left me wanting.... Another Christmas on 5th Avenue. I would love to follow the continuation of this story. One of the best new Christmas movies I have seen in a while. Kudos to everyone involved making this movie.

I really like this movie and the characters definitely feel like they have chemistry. My only little thing was the storyline slightly. I think it kind of glosses over the fact that his wife died and a part of him was still grieving her and that why he was behaving the way he was at the start of the film. I think it would've been really sweet if his area of tension as a character was not only falling in love with someone seemingly opposite to him but also recognising that you can love again and you shouldn't be afraid of that. I think it could've also been a great area of tension for Eva if she was no only torn because she fell in love with him and he's different to her, but she also recognises how difficult this time is for him and knows there is an element of him that afraid to love again for fear of losing it and she can't quell that fear. It would've made for much more powerful storytelling if the two could come together knowing the vulnerability of each other and both still desiring to be together

I think Eva wasn't very sympathetic about Lucas losing his wife, it's like she wanted to put a timetable on his grieving

A woman said there is no time limit on love......For any man listening to that crap... There is a time limit & it's called an engagement!!!! (Recommended time) 1 year or more...

Christmas on 5th Avenue reminds me of When Calls the Heart, When Hope Calls, The Sound of Music, and Pride and Prejudice, all at once. Great Hallmark movie 😊.

I LOVED this movie for its sweet story but also because it was set in Manhattan where I lived for 50 years AND for the fact that in my mid 20's I witnessed a couple like this -- a conservative looking photographer who fell in love and married a very flamboyant looking Brazilian woman -- such matches do happen!

Every Girls Dream Romance, well almost. Fairytales of Love are important especially for lonely women at Christmas time After being married and divorced by an alcoholic, trying to survive a retirement in this economy with our government and President Biden. IIr’s hard to know what’s next in this world. But at least that Movie allowed me some niceties for awhile.

Great Movie. I can't tell you how many times I've watched it since I discovered it. Sarah Morgan created two outstanding characters in Lucas and Eva.

Probably one of the best romantic movies and because of that also a very good tear jerker ; great family movie ❤❤😢😢 !!! Well worth watching.

The two main characters are great.i love the way she decides to decorate the kitchen the food she makes sound amazing.i like the way he eases his way to her .She already has first name basic with people.

The "you shall go to the ball" is a big screw up on the writer's part. First of all - it was LUCAS' invitation - which Eva begged to go to as his "plus one." He bought her the dress she loved but couldn't afford . . . and then she leaves with another man ?!? That is just so totally beyond tacky and low class. Hallmark - which is so ultra careful that it doesn't allow people to even hold hands unless buffered by several thicknesses of Winter coats, lest we think there may be a physical attraction between the protagonists - has broken the cardinal "rule" of dating . . . "Leave with the one who brought you." I loved everything about this movie - except that bit, right there. I mean - how could he even believe that she was "falling in love" with him - if she could leave that celebration with someone else ?!?
