Christmas Staircase(ish) - S. Fork Payette | 640 CFS 

̶F̶r̶i̶g̶i̶d̶ Festive Saturday afternoon on the South Fork of the Payette River. We ran the staircase run from top to about midway through the staircase rapid itself. At these flows, the bottom of Staircase turns into a bunch of knives, and the juice of an untimely combat roll there just wasn't worth the squeeze. Flow was ~640 cfs.
Class: III-IV (low flows so everything's whack)
