One of the very few moments when Spyro is not a cocky & arrogant hero, but a vulnerable kid waking up from a nightmare with all his burdens on his back. At this moment he really needed a dear friend whose body language says: "Just get over with it. It's just a dream." And it worked as Spyro & Elora exchanged warm smiles in a cold winter.
Everyone have nightmates. But not everyone have someone to comfort us when it happens, that's why we always cherish those who are there when we needed it, friends and family. I'm late for the christmas day reply but I really loved this short! Heartwarming and wholesome, also loved that Cynder jumped over Spyto to wake him, that is so sweet! And loved too seeing Elora caring for Spyro, she is truly a golden friend. Merry (late) Christmas!
Buddy I Think What Christmas is about is Being with Family and Friends and If snows Throw or Build Snowman. And Learning about Jesus Christ and what you Just Said
•Having someone to be there for you is always a heart-warming picture! Because you know, no matter what happens, no matter how bad, scared or isolated you feel, they will always be there to cheer you up and support you! That's what having friends is about!• Merry Christmas to all of you!!!!!!!!!!
Spyro is such a lucky dragon to have such great friends like Elora, the Professor, Hunter, Cynder, and come on, even Crash and Coco Bandicoot came all the way from their home on the Wumpa Islands to spend Christmas with him! this was so wholesome. I needed this after a stressful day. Thank you for this animation, Travis the Dragon.
I just finished Eternal Night after playing it for the first time. Getting ready for the final chapter Dawn of the Dragon. I love this trilogy. Also, I love this animation. Also because Crash is there too :) Icy Wilderness has great music.
0:46 to 1:05 Spyro's dreaming YEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!!!!! FANTASTIC UTTERLY FANTASTIC TravistheDragon
Is that A Hero's Tail music I hear? That's an underrated PS2 gem. A lot of people glimpse over it because the last entry, *which shall not be named* , left a bitter taste in people's mouths.
i think the reason a lot of people felt it was rushed and only half-done was because it WAS rushed out by the developers, and left only half-finished. had they taken more time, they could have included at least ONE other actual world hub, more Dragonflies, more things to do in general, but even as a hardcore Purple Boi fan from back in the PS1 days of the original Spyro the Dragon who usually has nothing but praise for the series, it indeed felt like a half-assed effort from the developers. People love YotD so much because Insomniac actually put their hearts and souls into that one, because it was their last game with our beloved purple dragon, and they wanted their customers to get the best of what they could put out for us. Recently having acquired the Reignited Trilogy for my new PS4 which i unexpectedly got for Christmas, I am glad I can relive the glory days of Insomniac in a stunning 3D remastery.
@@SzandorQuinn It was definitely Universal that rushed the developers. Devs usually don't rush their own games on their own free will. It's always either investors or publishers.
Spyro's one lucky guy to have friends to be there for you when you have a nightmare. XD Really cute and nicely animated! 💜 I also loved the small ending with Crash and Cocoa chilling with Spyro's crew for Christmas. Nice job. :3
Here is Spyro, laying down, taking a nap in -11 degree weather, naked as the day he hatched, and not cold at all. Just another reminder to why we dragons are far superior to silly humanoids.
@@Arfy41 I mean he is beyond the need for clothing. No coats, not even blankets. Be he in desert, swamp, forest, sea, or snow, his scales are all the covering he needs. The perfect life form. What do I mean by naked? Why? What is your understanding of this word? Is it the inferior human perspective most people on RU-vid understand? Or do you understand it as something only a human can be vulnerable trying to achieve in the very atmosphere of their own habitat?
@@rachdarastrix5251 the word "Naked" is defined as a lack of clothing. So by those standards. I honestly have no idea. Judging by the phrasing you used, your intellect is superior to mine.
I remember when I used to mock your content to myself. Jesus just seeing how far you've come now, Travis! You're gonna go places at this rate! Keep it up!
Ahh, yes, I remember Spyro the Dragon. Kind of bittersweet, after all that happened to him, though. He really did represent the '90s to early '00 years well. He represented the optimism that people like me felt during those times, too. I miss him, but understand that he did us all proud in the end, facing Malefor down, as only he could do. I know that he exists on another plane of existence, too. May we all learn from his example, and remember he's in our memories, too.:)
@@flammable7961 if you read my reply to Jeiku Furame just now, you will see that I have been a hardcore praise-heaping Purple Boi fan from the very beginning. He was my childhood.
@@SzandorQuinn Nice! Despite what it seems, I’ve only been a fan since last year, I grew up with N64 and first played Reignited because of its similarities to Banjo.
@Travis_the_dragon your animations are really cool and i love when you do the animations of spyro and elora together, please continue with the animarions of they two because they are very cute.
I love the new intro and also is it me or at 0:50 I just got a Legend of spyro vibe from that scene because I got final battle vibes from that of dawn of the Dragon
This was an amazing Video. Definitely worth seeing Elora, Spyro and the others on Christmas. And i ship it definitely Spyro with Elora. PS: Merry Christmas to you Travis Buddy! You're the best at what you do
I'm watching this as my Dad and Sister begin their Christmas Day tradition of watching THE ENTIRE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY EXTENDED CUT downstairs, they began around an hour ago, the Extended Cuts of each of the three movies are all around 4 hours long, that's twelve hours of LOTR. I'm just glad I also like LOTR, though not as much as they do.
I miss the Legend of Spyro series, has a much better story than this one honestly, with Spyro being a special Purple Dragon mastering all the abilities, i wanted to know more about it...( sigh ) good times
