My Instagram is @rosiehenshawhome Hello welcome back to my RU-vid channel I’m Rosie henshaw and today I’m bringing you a wrapping video so grab a cuppa and hopefully you’ll enjoy xx
Love these ideas x you are so relatable you remind me of Emma Radcliffe you are some of my favourite you tubers it’s like sitting with your friends chatting over tea and biscuits. Have a lovely week xx
I always do brown paper, I write on the paper too, and I have used magazines too, and that looks fab, it isn’t recycling because glossy paper isn’t but it’s repurposed so not a one time use, great thought provoking video xx
Hiya Sunshine! I have used brown paper in the past and it's what you add that make it look expensive and unique. Love the idea of using material, so useful for people who do quilting and can use it. Have a lovely week. Gentle Hugs.
Hi Rosie 💝 I have wrapped like this for a few years now. Only difference is I make my own tags, hole punch a hole in and thread it onto the ribbon before i tie it. I refuse to buy wrapping paper so everyone has there gifts in brown paper, each child has there own colour ribbon which I then re use throughout the year. Love your videos, you have really helped me through lockdown xx
Love these ideas!!! I'm definitely doing the brown wrapping, because l have some already and I'll use a strip of special paper along the middle. l love the paper and this way it will last so much longer!! Thanks Rosie! 🌹
Super cute Christmas jumper Rosie😂😂😂!!! Lovely wrapping ideas Rosie, I love The Brown Paper with the Red Ribbon with the Berries and The Fabric Wrapping Idea👍🏽!! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas Rosie, you're the best😁.
Beautiful and thoughful 😍😍Some people get - material not knitted - scarves and materials in charity shops for pence even silk ones! You could also make stamps the old-fashioned way: carving shapes into potatoes halves. I use the brown paper that comes when you buy things online like that big company we all know 😉🎄🎄💚💚
Lovely ideas as always rosie.ive done some of mine in brown paper they do look lovely.will be using it more next year.finished all mine last sat.so many!.😀xx
I adore these ideas! It reminds me of how my grandma would wrap all the grandkids presents and come deliver our beautifully wrapped christmas present bundles! I still really appreciate a beautifully wrapped gift.
Lovely ideas Rosie thank you, I did as you said and made myself a hot chocolate, the first of the season, to drink while I watched your video! And I had it in my Elf mug!
Fantastic ideas and good to know that wrapping paper isn’t recyclable....I’ll be using brown paper from now on as it always looks lovely. Love the peace on earth sign might need to look for those xx
Hi Rosie, I'm new to your channel but I'm loving your videos, these are great wrapping present tips an can make the present look really beautiful! Thanks for sharing these brill idea's! 😊❤
Liked the video before i even watched it because i knew i'd love it and i was right 😁 I've wrapped my presents in craft paper as i have found out wrapping paper isn't recylable X
Hi Rosie! Love your Rudolf too. So cute!! Not sure what your definition of a perfect video is but can I just say, yours are absolutely perfect to me!. You're real, honest, sweet, kind and always make me smile! I love all of your beautiful wrapping ideas. I would have never thought to use fabric to wrap presents! Love it!! Loved all the embellishments you showed also. Tfs Have a wonderful rest of your week. 🎁
I bought a GIANT roll of brown paper at a garage sale for $5 dollars about 10 years ago and I am still using it. I loved your rapper/wrapper joke! made me laugh out loud!
Done brown paper and newspaper for a few years now...doesn't it look nice!! Going to add some berries though this year...thanks for the tips as always Rosie..especially the material wrapping😉so good!!😍🎄🎉🎁ps....its my birthday on Saturday...would make my day to have a shout out from you and Bertie...🐶🤞🙏🙋♀️🎂
Just in the middle of decorating my Christmas tree, the lights are on, although will be fiddling with them all Christmas, just need to put the balls and other Christmas decorations on now.........then will make myself a nice mug of hot chocolate and watch your video. Xxx
I've done the brown paper with a strip of expensive paper and ribbon and its looks stunning and very expensive compared to just normal wrapping paper. I've also done two different papers like that and it looks fab too! .. Thanks for the video Rosie! Xx ps you Xmas jumper looks fabulous!
Lovely ideas. My dogs favourite toy at the min is a Pom Pom. So every time you said Pom Pom he was looking as if to say ' you want my Pom pom.' lol well that's what I recon he was thinking. 🐶💞💕♥️💋😂
I wrap mine in brown paper and jute string, jute string is biodegradable. You have to be careful with what you put on as I know if it has certain paints on or inks it can't be recycled which is frustrating.
Slices of Oranges cooked in the oven, cinnamon sticks and take the bottom of a pinecone and these can be put on the top and dressed with Ribbon will look great x Bought some more Wrapping paper tape that you do not see on the paper best tape in the world just got 2 large boxes of it from Amazon x With the brown paper ons can get away with putting on so much more, as with busy beautiful Christmas wrapping paper it can be very busy x🌲🍂🍁🌷🎄🎁 x
Some great ideas there thank you, shame I have just wrapped all mine but have made notes in my Christmas book for next year. Please treat yourself to a tape machine I'd be lost without mine so much easier than your teeth! My sister one year wrapped her presents in Christmas tea towels, they are quite cheap from pound shops etc. too. Merry Christmas Rosie I hope you and your family have a lovely time and I look forward to watching more of your blogs in 2020. Thanks for this years inspirational films.
Another idea with the brown paper for gifts from the kids (granny, teacher etc) give the kids a big sheet of the paper to draw on and use that to wrap the gifts in...it's like two in one gifts (mine used to love finger painting snowman and reindeers etc when they were little) 🤗 xx
Lovely, again. I suspect that you could buy headscarves in charity shops that you could use as wrapping. Might be better for birthday presents. Oddly, I have used (years ago) newspaper strips stained with tea or coffee wrapped around brown paper like you said with your more expensive wrapping paper. P.S another 1 1/2 thousand in about four days! Well done xx
when my children were growing up Santa did NOT wrap his presents so these were all left under the tree .The wrapped ones were from Aunties ,Uncles that sort of thing .
I don’t know if you order from amazon - but they include LOADS of this brown paper in their parcels. I save it all up and use it to wrap my families presents! Costs nothing and looks great
Hello Rosie.. Tride and true the original way to wrap .. Brown wrap from the post office with many different colors of ribbons..I once received a gift wrapped within a scarf it was ever so beautiful.. Thank you for the tutorial.. Sincerely Tanja ✨
@@Rosiehenshawhome Hello Rosie.. You are to be thanked not I You have given me back an Old World Style Christmas back..as I remember from my Oma as well Tic Tok Oma🎄 Sincerely Tanja ❄️
I used brown paper this year with brown biodegradable tape as sellotape is really bad for the environment, used candy canes and natural foliage, reusable ribbon.
