Divine performance by one of the greatest harphsicordists of the world.

I still remember listening to this from way back in 1993 during my junior year of college in the US on Rousset's unparalleled "Pièces De Clavecin - Rameau” double CD from L'Oiseau-Lyre. It sounded so magical and different from any other piece of music I’d heard, whether Baroque or on keyboard, even harpsichord - I played it to one of my music major friends and he immediately said it sounded so “bright” because of the tuning - it wasn’t equal temperament tuning like JSB and WTC, but was meantone tuning (3rds equal-spaced between 1st and 5th) for each piece.

Marvelous performance. All the voices are heard weaving in and out, with seeming effortlessness. Terrific instrument top to bottom. The basses have a wonderfully musical 'growl. '

Ich dachte anfangs, der Loddar sitzt am clavecin. Ich hatte schon vor 20 Jahren Rameau Cembalo-Musik auf CDs erstanden, edles Cover und grandiose Musik. Rameau gibt mir echt was. Ein wahrer Jünger von musica. Blandine Rannou spielt da auch unglaublich gut.

M. Christophe Rousset reste une référence. Très joli

Al Pianoforte sarebbe impossibile dare la stessa potenza e brillantezza di Suono Barocco stile Rameau. Purtroppo oggi il Clavicembalo è molto sottovalutato. Ennio Morricone lo usa il molte sue Composizioni. Anche negli anni 70 nella PoP Music 😊❤
