Superb shave, thank you for this video. As some additional info: Panta rei or as it is "originally" written - παντα ρει - is greek for *everything flows*. Like you step into a river and you never get the exact same river flowing by, everything around us is constantly moving. Heraklit (ancient greek philosopher, pre socratic) is the guy who I believe is said to be the first person to have said that. I need to get my hands on the CB in brass, I just love the look.

Excellent mid-week shave, Paul. All venerable products, cannot argue with the results. An old school SOTD for me: Gillette Slim, Astra Green, Williams Mug, Barbasol aftershave, L'Oreal balm.

Beautiful display by Mrs H, and some great choices for your midweek shave Paul! My mid week SOTD will be the Rockwell 6S plate 5 with a Feather blade, Simpson Chubby 2 Badger Brush, Proraso green preshave, House of Mammoth Kryptonite soap and aftershave, with some L’Oréal Men Expert Birch Sap Balm to finish the shave. Meal of the day will be some Lamb Shanks with Jasmine rice, green beans, Curried Lentils and chopped salad. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!!!!

I recently bought Tfs set solito ignoto soap and AS. It was made in honour of a famous barber based in Torino, Italy. Luckily I did not have any reaction to the soap considering it is tfs. Great barbershop smell. What surprised me was the AS. It does not contain any skin food ingredients but it felt great when applying. Tfs make great products. Cheers!

My sotd was a mash up. King c gillette with a shark blade, 3rd use. My soap was black amber vanilla by WSP. And gillette cool wave splash. Have a great week

Another Wednesday...another shave with flowery decor by Mrs. H! I'm skipping my daily shave so I can test a new-to-me blade (Wilkinson Sword Saloon Pack) with two days of growth. Tonight's MOTD will be a homemade (crust and toppings) buffalo wing pizza. This is something you might enjoy on your Hot&Spicy day...with some added reaper powder of course. I hear that the UK is beginning to cool down. Have a great rest of the week.

I used the Karve closed comb, B plate. And it was fantastic. Smooth, mild, but efficient. An effortless bbs every time. I was thinking of buying the B plate open comb, but I would love to hear a first hand experience in comparing the closed vs open comb.

i had a no no shave just before i showered today, with some weird more like hand soap foamy can and a disposable blade and yesterday oh boy electric foil shaver....o know yiiiikes tomorrow Friday though DE brush and real shaving soap lol. great shaving video today well yesterday flowers as always displayed beautifully stay safe, cheers....Peter

Great shave Paul. My mid week SOTD was Rockwell 6S with plate 4 (on face), plate 2 on head. TOBS Rose shaving cream, Simpson T2 synthetic. Astra green (first use). Weather's got a bit crap here in Ireland, plenty of rain (Atlantic hurricane i believe), heading across towards you now too.

No shave today or tomorrow, bur I found out about an artisan soap company in my own US State and thus broke my personal "rule" of not buying anymore shaving soap. Should arrive Thursday and I will try it Friday (assuming the post gets it here on time). (As an aside, I cannot fault the USPS in any way ... Ok, well, when I was very young, the postman came twice a day in the US and if the sender failed to affix a stamp, my mom had to pony up a couple of cents, but it was still delivered). Anyway!! I will let you know what I think of the local (for me) artisan product. The website says they don't ship across the pond, but you never know, if I really like it, I may send you some. Very much enjoy all your shaves and Mrs H's flower arrangements.

Hi Paul, I hope you get to try Karve's new razor the Overlander at some point. It is my favorite DE razor I have tried in the past 6 months or so. Cheers

Hey Paul! I recently purchased one of those Christopher Bradley razors and it came with A, B, and C closed comb plates. I found them too mild for my beard. How are they compared with an open comb plate? I am going to have to purchase the more aggressive plates. Nice razor still with that being said. As for the SOTD...I am using a vintage J 1 Schick injector (ivory handle), Tabac shave stick, unbranded balm, Stetson cool moisture aftershave splash and a moisturizer to finish off. The blade is a Schick standard injector one. Thanks for reviewing the CB razor again!
