what are the facts you found improving Richard Dawkins discussing the theory of evolution? or are you talking about his opinions on religion? By the way are not theories .
i wonder if there is any atheist who believes in intelligent design. but then again, there are christians who believe in evolution. interesting little observation.
Among the evidences for literal Genesis would be: 1) Discovery of chromosome numbers (1905-1910) proving that the origin of every species was the first mating of male and female with the species' chromosomes. 2) Interdependence of flowering plants and the animals that cross-pollinate them. 3 Huge deposits of sedimentary rocks, sediment being the stuff at the bottom of a body of water, plus the formation of fossils and fossil fuels proving catastrophic geology.
@blazereef 1) The first chromosomes were the result of creation or genetic re-design, not random processes. These are not recurring events. 2) 'Co-evolution' is vocabulary invented to explain the absurdity of the production of nectar being a million years before consumption. 3)[Fossils are found in water]. No, they are found in what was once at the bottom of water, and much higher than currrent sea level.
@Xaselm Furthermore, human chromsome 2 reveals that: (1) There is a distinct row of humans genes PGML/FOXD/CBWD near the notorius fusion. (2) The fusion is an 'end-to-end' fusion, something that shows up in end-of-life issues, not in gametes. So we can conclude (3) the first two humans were re-designed to have 46 chromsomes (4) the incentive to mate was by being the only humans in existence (5) newly created genes capable of inbreeding (6) the hominds were hybridized apes/humans
Christopher was speaking in the evolution v creation sense.Could be a different explanation.Who or what ever created us wasnt looking out for us in any sense.Maybe we were a hobby who knows.
You and I live in a Universe that's 100 billion light years in diameter(many many miles) and I didn't "choose" to live in it. It's the reality that life on this planet evolved and I can deal with it. Obviously, you can't. Too bad.
@RepressedDreams What we learned from genetics: (1) Chromosome numbers (discovered 1905-1910) prove that the origin of every species was the first mating male/female with species' chromosomes. (2) The debilitating effects of genetic mutations especially random chromosome aberrations. (3) The tapdance that Darwinists performed for 30 years to contrive Neo-Darwinism (i.e. inbreeding mutants will fix their problems). Genetic entropy will take evolution off of life-support.
@5spd5thgen Nothing better than an ignorant person claiming others are the ignorant ones. The "how do you know what happened? Were you there?" argument has gotten pretty old. With your logic we modern day humans should have no concept of what happened in history, and especially not ancient history. But we do, and you know why? We have records from ancient people, but for things not recorded we have science. Educate yourself.
@5spd5thgen-- There are mountains of evolutionary evidence from many folds of science- geography, biology, physics, chemistry, etc. The scientific community concludes that evolution did take place. if you want to put your fingers in your ears, close your eyes, and make noises so as not to expose yourself to reason that is your choice to stay uneducated. We have a good idea what the earth was like billions of years ago because of geology, chemistry, biology, etc. Its not that hard
if someone says something, i am sure i would ask to know why he said it and if this statement is true...in both cases from Dawkins i have found more facts disproving his theory than proving it. please see what is true and not what everyone accepts as rejection from a God. Only in the "rich world" will we see people not knowing (or rejecting) that there is a God who loves us
Well we sure do watch the sufferings of the animal kingdom and don't interveigne. Why don't we? We respect the martial order of life. Prob the same reason God does not He respects free will.
Apparently, you've never read any relevant books about Evolution yet you have a mindless "opinion" about it. There's absolutely NO proof for "Creationism", but many volumes supporting the evolution of all life forms on this planet. Or maybe the Earth is not a part of this solar system. Jeez!
@RomulanMastermind Well, the events at which genes were created are described in Genesis chapters 1-2. This was followed by the events in Genesis chapter 3, which are referred to as the curse. The curse caused things like telemeric failure of chromosomes and end-to-end fusions, which will eventually kill us all. Also, things like the appendix were added (which is why it is so named) which is a reservoir of good bacteria. The slapdash of these designs is because we are only here temporarily.
