We will never catch up On infrastructure with the unsustainable immigration rate NZ is running, especially housing (zoning the land doesn’t build houses in the short term)
its easy to catchup. All they need to do is unwind all the red tape around construction. Almost 1/3 of construction cost is now attributed to compliance. It is bonkers.
They want kiwis to come home instead of living where there is higher income. Come back to what high cost of living and low income. How is that plan going to work? NZ offer better safer streets to live on
New Zealand has a proud history of kicking the can down the road. Each party gets its turn, but things don’t really change. We are derelict in our duties to honor the treaty, and the rich just want us to “shut up and get on with it”. There is a social reckoning ahead, and it will be driven by widespread resource scarcity.
Awesome PM, Chris Luxon. Reintroduce the age old Phonics method to reading in schools, so our children actually understand the building sound blocks behind words, and do read and love to read. A child who can't read, is blind to the world of words which is a serious impediment to a good life. So thank you Prime Minister. That's a good start. Prayers🙏👍🥇💯
@@slamtilt01 yes, and while they are NZ will continue to have a screwed up distorted tax system and unproductive economy. The tax system must be a level playing field if NZ is to thrive.
New Zealaners should know more about the censorship funding and why Ardern is still being paid, while she works in the USA (seeningly Harvard)? If shes privately paid after that for philanthropic reasons, does this lead on from what New Zealanders have being paying for?
No, the ultimate measure is no gdp per hour worked. It’s either gdp per capita which is decimated by our unsustainable immigration rate or its wellbeing per capita which isn’t being measured and should be given NZs massive social and environmental deficits
Neeyou Ziland. Jeez, this man prattles on..."I truly believe this the best country on earth"...."Ending the war on farmers" "thus enhancing growth by getting rid of green and red tape"...
Double the exports - how? Where is the strategy? NZ exports have been static to falling as a % of gdp. What are we going to export, we already max out on agriculture and horticulture. We don’t have any other industries. They were destroyed by the neoliberal changes from the 1980s onwards.
Your Collation Government will be held to account to those words as there is a lot of Pain, Stress, uncertainty cause by Your Government. Hearing you continue to state You are unapologetic meaning >>>act in accord with your own thoughts, feelings, beliefs, your actions regardless of how others thoughts, feelings and impact on their life's.
Ariini .. totally agree with you. Look at how many small businesses have gone into liquidation, how many homeowners have sold under Mortgagee sales, how many renters rents has increased and not decreased like you said Luxon, How your Charter schools will NOT need to have qualified teachers and that a charter school student will cost 4 times more than a state school student.. there’s many more examples of your bs..
@@KellyMonk156 Will if there is that kind of thinking by those that took handouts to keep them afloat during pandemic return the money that was receive and that can be added to the coffers. Simple and honest.
This will become illegal to do if they did 😮 so horrible for farmers if it did because this a big fine or maybe jail for them . Government owned or funded like PAMU now that will be a humungo problem also
@@henkmagnetic3103 if you're asking a question like that, you probably don't understand what I'm talking about. But i'll humour you, literally everyone is affected by inflation. Good day
@@KellyMonk156 I know enough to very well off. Consider inflation as an effect, then, what is the cause? If your answer is a one-liner, then I'll humour you, but don't get to convoluted, for your own good.
Also this coalition government was put in to put an end to racist division which is extremely important to newzealanders, everyone to be treated the same
More jobs for people? National has already sacked numerous public servants. Where is National going to get jobs for them ??? The country is effectively in recession.
All by design to correct the mistake of mass printing and central banks world wide for raising interest rates too late, claiming the inflation was transitory.
@@Sams_world_nz the number of bureaucrats per capita in NZ is not high based on OECD rankings. National’s agenda is purely ideological. The number of public servants could simply be reduced by holding nominal wages flat and allowing natural attrition to occur. There has been no cost benefit assessment undertaken by National to determine the optimum number of staff needed to implement (a policy agenda that maximises wellbeing per capita)
