He was born in 1943 which will make him 80 today and this was made maybe ten years ago. Still impressive and I’m a huge Walken fan. Check out Frankie Valle he just turned 86 and is still doing full shows. It’s amazing.
This habit came from growing up with immigrants that barely knew English and had to pause before each words because they where searching for it/translating in their head. Funny it became his trademark.

So I have been a huge fan of Christopher Walken for many years. I'm also fond of Fat boy and Spike Jones I always loved this video . And since September I have lived at this hotel. It's part of an initiative called project room key to keep people from becoming homeless during covid. Since so many hotels were empty cause 8f the lockdown someone was smart enough to offer to lease the hotels instead of having empty buildings. It's surreal to me still.. I have never been homeless before but I lost my job due to covid and lost my home due to my lawyer messing up and not filing a waiver he was supposed too. That forced me into court unprepared. I was beside myself I had no idea where I was gonna land but I was very lucky to have been placed here they also have a policy to accept pets so I have my kitty here with me. I was approved for an housing voucher and hope to find a more permanent home soon. .
Facts of life: When this was shot, Christopher Walken terrified me. Now?? I gobble this sly irony like manna. Love when you can come back to a vid like this and it’s still urgently fresh.
I just saw Dune (Part 2) and I think there's a humorous homage to this video/song in the movie. Christopher Walken of course plays the Emperor, but there's also a line in this song where Bootsy Collins says "if you walk without rhythm, you won't attract the worm" which is a famous line from the Dune book. In the movie, when Chani is teaching Paul how to walk in the desert without attracting the sandworm, they seem to be doing the slide step that Walken is doing at one point in this video.
[sigh] You know.... I really miss those suits; the ones that actually fit, instead of looking like you're wearing your younger brother's jacket by mistake. They'll undoubtedly come back. If I'm lucky, maybe in time for me to be laid out in one!

When will interviewers learn not to put people in front of or sideways to an open window with glaring sunlight? You film WITH THE LIGHT, and NEVER AGAINST IT.
