His camp did not promote his talent to the fullest. Think about this era he came at the time they wanted cross over music new jack hip hop 88 to 90s music. He could get out and run now if He wanted to😢
Christopher Williams, AL B Sure and Horace Brown are three talented underrated singers that should be acknowledged for their contribution to R&B during the 80's and 90s.
@@Jenlylesmusic I listened. I wasn't impressed. I thgt he wasn't successful bc of his song "Taste Your Love". Can you believe in 1994 it was banned in the South bc the song was about oral sex? I read HB actually sang backup for Christopher Williams. I know I read somewhere that R. Kelly was the opening act for his shows. There were so many R&B singers in the 90s he was just one that I never heard of until now. Al B. Sure and Christopher Williams were on the R&B Top 10 charts since light skinned men were in back then. I liked CW's baritone sound more than Al B. Sure's falsetto.
@@sweetsweet81that's not all ...I'm taking it back to something my mom used to say he could sing a woman out of her panties I'm not being funny or disrespectful but it's the truth 😂.
@@kayyrack4079 Fine? He was fine in the 90's. Sadly, he looks like he's been the victim of a long-term drug habit. He did not look like the same CW when I saw him on one of those reality housewives shows. His face was sunken. He has not aged well, but his voice will live on.
@@cristyluv1205 I've seen many many top lists of best male vocalists of all time and Christopher's name has never been mentioned once though he is clearly better than many of those on those lists, therefore his brilliant vocals are indeed underrated.
Who's listening in 2024? I bought the CD "Changes"when it came out and played it over and over and over again. My favorite male vocalist back in the day. I love me some Christopher Williams.
Christopher Williams is a 90’s Gem!! we need to celebrate our black artist for what they’ve contributed to the culture. Not w8 til they’re deaths to realize they’re brilliance. Thx Christopher.....this toast is to you baby🎊🍾🥂🎉
Beautiful homage sista!!That's right we gotta salute and hold up our talented kings and queens while their still living. Its such a shame that our R&B musical culture has beem wiped away right before our eyes and as dumb blind sheep we sat back and allow it to happen,it disturbs me.😪
People magazine missed naming him the Sexiest Man Alive. He's mesmerizing to look at and to top if off, he is blessed with an amazing voice. Many people think if they had what he had, life would be perfect. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to shield you from life's troubles. He admits that he couldn't be faithful, got into trouble with the law, had problems with record producers, and got mixed up with drugs. I'm glad he's back on track now, and living for God. You can still love God and sing love songs Christopher. Waiting for that new CD!
Chris n AL B. Are 2 different type of singers, so no need to compare. They both killed this Era along with EL Debarge who is in a league of his own. Let's start there..
Sure didn't! Al really couldn't sing just got a pass because of his looks. The only thing they had in common was they both were pretty boys who came our the same time in that era of r/b new jack swing.
Tarkeema Lewis I know right but that's definitely auto tune one of devante signatures he sounds like that on the song to in the background hooks when the song is going off
He is the most beautiful male in the world in this video. He had more natural beauty shots in this video for any male I ever saw! He is one of a kind with his beauty and his voice! Remember him.
NellyBelle girl pandora played this in my guy station and I said wayment!!! This guy from new jack city has another song than I'm dreamin ?? This song is pure gold love he music video too
Girl yes!!! Girl you better get into it!! I been in love with this man voice since a young kid back in 91-92'!!! lol My parents made no choice playing his music. lol
Christopher Williams always had a very distinctive Sexy Voice. If you know anything about RnB and Oldschool than you know that this Type of music will always be around. Loved it then as I do Right Now.
Horace Brown singing the hook and all the background vocals made this song for sure but I'm sure he'll never get his credit but I respect the touch he gave this track... Much love Horace/Fam foesho!!!
90's was the last consistent decade of that heartfelt R&B where we could convey our vulnerabilities to the ladies and the would empathize with our broken assess.😄 Even if you weren't "light skin" Al B Sure Naturally Mine and this song by Chris would get you out of trouble and into scoring position.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So sad he didn’t age well with all the sh+t he had to deal with, and Al B. still fine. Christopher hands down has ALL the talent, omg his voice still gives me goosebumps!!!
