Currently have a 2017 Subaru Outback, and will be trading next spring for a 2023 Subaru Outback Touring XT. What I love about the Touring trim level is all of the extra chrome/satin finishes! I love the chrome! LOL. What's so great is that everyone can customize their vehicle to their liking now - I think that's just terrific!! Your Outback looks fantastic! Congrats!
I have a 2023 “Field” edition here in the UK. It’s autumn green like yours, but Subaru exchange chrome for black and matt black . I love the Matt black wording on the tailgate I have ☺️. The mirrors are a gloss black, as is the lower bit under the front fender. I would prefer Matt for those.
Nice. I ordered the kit, tried the first piece (small corner piece) and messed it up. Now I'm pricing a professional install. They want 400 just for the trim. They're crazy.
I'm curious to see how will hold up to sun heat and bitter cold weather. I live in AZ so more worried about pealing during the summer. Looks great, I may give it a go 👍
According to the timestamp your video is 10 months old now. Just wondering how the vinyl is holding up? I have the kit, just waiting on a clear weekend to install it. Never done anything like this so am a little nervous. I have a Green 2022 Outback Limited. Love how yours looks!
Have the chrome delete kit just honestly waiting till I get oem window deflectors since this go over the trim pieces. Looks good over all, I do have my rear lights tinted, got them from cruxmoto.
Awesome! I would install the chrome delete kit before installing the window deflectors. That way it’s all unison. I installed the rear tail light overlays from cruxmoto as well! Just went light smoke on mine
I think that made the vehicle look Dollar Store cheap , especially up close... I have a 2019 Outback ..black silica. Still wouldnt do this mod. Chrome looks better than black ever could. Dont see the fad in black outs... unless your trying to protect paint from getting scratched on the trail.
Let him do his thing and you do yours. Not sure if you know, but Subaru actually makes an Onyx Edition that has smoked headlights and taillights, and the majority of the car is blacked out, other than the chrome. It's a very popular and very limited edition model due to it's popularity.
@@scubamike1468 yep. I know they do. What I keep telling people is that I wanted the nappa leather interior. It’s easier to black stuff out than change a whole interior
