I'm honestly more impressed about the still damn good ripping skills than the powder coated frame. I love this flying style since the beginning. Can't wait for spring. ☀️
It's insane how far this hobby has came in the last 10 years. This flow was unheard of. I just remember spending hours on my pids. What's your pids bro. Such smooth footage and amazing flying. Glad to see you still around.
I was struggling to get rid of my depressed state but this video just worked a wonder to me. It was a really jaw dropping project to see how beautiful all the parts turned out to be , lol i was praying that you dont crash the beauty, well good thing you built another one, Drew. Always awesome to watch your content and draw inspiration from, congrats on the 100k! If i get that frame I might have to paint it something cool .
Congrats on 100K! You've more than earned it. The chrome-drome looks slick! Too bad about the durability, but it'll be a hell of a display piece. Gives it a retro-futuristic vibe.
Iv seen you in person and met you a couple times actually. Iv noticed you have patience with people and really enjoy this hobby for what it does for us all and that's bringing us all together and have fun. Drew you are one of those rare ones my friend, thanks! Anyway I bought your frame for my first quad 4 years ago and I absolutely loved it! I also lost it in a lake..... I'd love to have another one !! Drew take care man and good luck !
When I was at school, several decades ago, stuff we couldn’t powder coat using the traditional method, we’d head up the object in an oven and then dip it into a bucket full of the powder coat, problem was it always went on think that way, so wouldn’t be any good for our drones.
Powder coating is so fun! I have my own DIY system using a toaster oven as well. Spray painting small parts are a thing of the past for me. If it fits in the oven it its powered coated. Plus their are so many more wild colors than what spray cans offer.
Man my Dji air 2s got me into watching yt videos on drones. If you watch enough drone videos and you will eventually get lead into fpv rabbit hole. Once there I learned all about Rotor riot and each of you individually. Over time yall were welcomed in through my tv set and got me into fpv. I hope that one day I somehow get on yalls radar and I get good enough that we could one day fly together. And then I could learn from the best. Have a good day bro.
Been watching you for a min. Since back then when you first got to meet skitzo. You always just wanted to fly just like i always wanted to skate or bmx or whatever back in my younger days. I love this hobby, 5 years in the game and i still get that adrenaline rush. Your videos are fun to watch straight up. That precise timing You have tho is unmatched
Congratulations drib, we need more of your flowy lines, got tired of sbang and all other speed flicks which makes me feel little dizzy, your lines are so relaxing and kind of meditative in a stressful time, keep them coming new again.. thanks
I think that frame as a wall mount is great idea! Your videos along with the rest of the rotor riot crew have inspired me to jump into this hobby. Even though im still very green and spending more time in sims, I would really like a frame to start my journey into building. Keep up the good work, and keep the videos coming!
I didn't know powder coating was so easy! Thanks for showing that! another hobby! LOL Thanks for considering me for the frame and an awesome video as usual !!
You must know every branch in that parking lot. Holy moly, dude...your spatial awareness is something to behold! I'll get that frame in the air, hook me up!
Not Trying to be a suck-up! But This guy is my most favorite flyer from his acrobatics in his flight style.. Just floats and even turns backwards in complete Harmony so naturally..
Congrats on the 100k mark. Long time fan and always enjoy your flying. Also been a privilege to meet you in person multiple times and can say you are one of the coolest dudes around.
I've been watching you ever since you were doing those trick series vids back in Detroit! I think also you inspired me to fly when I didn't necessarily feel like it sometimes and definitely highlighted the importance of smoothness on the sticks. You're a legend and an inspiration to many, so thanks! Well deserved 100k subs 👏 🤩
been watching for a few years now you are huge inspiration to my fpv journey an got me started on flying i saw 'does she really fly' and that video and the flying and the music made me want to start flying fpv drones, but yeah would def love this frame, good luck yall
Dude, nice to see another new show. Man, you're flying has gotten so good. If anyone should be making money shooting cine stuff it's you man, you understand flow and smoothness... love your flying and the powder coated frame was pretty kick-ass too. Thanks for the lesson in powder coating, I always wondered how that was done. Cheers!
First - you can powder coat at home?!?!🤯 second - that looks AWESOME! 🤩 Third - yeah, bummer about the durability so I’m trying to think about a use case, maybe for pros that’ll never get called back if they crash on set? Great commendation of 100k. Fourth - congrats on 100k!!! 🎉🍾🥂
This is what making videos is all about, just keeping your subscribers excited when you upload a video, now you can try painting a frame 😬 hey I would love to have a frame
i'm getting sham-wow vibes from the first 5 minutes in the most awesome way. Congrats on 100K, been here since the 20k era when you had purple awesome hair
I don't comment often but that give away makes it well worth! But besides that I love you dude you were one of my main reasons to get into drones and fpv!
If there wasn't such a durability issue I'd have powder coated my entire fleet😂 it looks soooo good! love the content Drew and congrats on passing 100k! great way to start the new year.
Love the Skyeliner HD frame. I'm building my second one now. Lost number one to a full throttle impact on the ForrestHill Bridge in CA The LeDrib style is so smooth--you make it look easy! Impressed with your Rotor Riot leadership as well. Keep up the great work!
I had looked at an Eastwood powder system in the past, but the oven part had me stumped. Great thought on the toaster oven! May have to go back and have another look at everything. Great flying as usual, and great vid as usual. Looking forward to the next one..
Congratulations on 100k. Totally earned it. You as well as others have gotten me into this great hobby. Even though I'm still at the beginner stage still love watching you and inspire me. Looks awesome in chrome shame it weakens it but looks incredible. Keep up heat channel..
Beautiful. I fly and I paint mostly with micas. That's a lovely finish. Try it again. It could be that you just had a hard crash and that the frame is normal. Also when you powder coat clip to the piece of metal holding your piece instead of the piece itself. Thx Pilot!
I would love the opportunity to have one of your frames! Absolutely know I’m not the only one.lol. I’m still a newb, way better at building than flying. Progressing slowly at flying. I’m obsessed with this hobby and will be for life. I learn so much from you and josh, I love your style of flying and hope to be that good one day. I watch every video I come across from you and rotor riot. Also a lot from josh, you guys are like my hero’s in this hobby. Sorry it didn’t work out better with the coating but it’s still cool.
Most interesting experiment. Glad your video ended with a silver lining about the 100k. Great for you well done and fantastic to have more FPV pilots out there.
I broke that same exact arm on my skyeliner pro spec and on my skyeliner HD. The position of the 2 small holes on the arms can cause a weak spot if the frame bolts/standoffs arent completely tightened down all the way...still the strongest frame in my fleet by far make no mistake the skyeliner is a complete tank!! Now that being said your powdercoating made it soo much weaker for sure. When i get breaks in said spot, most of the time the quad is actually still flyable. The first time it happened, i still flew with the cracked arm for a few months before i realized it was indeed broken. When changed it was still flyable but i didnt want to chance it any longer. I would love to be chosen for the giveaway please and thanks. Nice edit, much love. Fin
