What’s the difference between these two new Callaway balls? They match up to the ProV1 and ProV1X and Callaway is after more market share!
In this video I hit both with some wedge shots, mid irons and drivers and talk about the difference. Hopefully this helps you pick the best ball for you!

I got a sleeve of the Chrome tour. Just frome chipping in the backyard, they feel great. I loved the CS X-ls and while it was a great ball everywhere, it just didn't have the bite I was looking for. Callaway did a good job from what I can tell based on feel and 20 yard chips so far. If they kept the low spin off the longer clubs I have found my perfect ball. Here is hoping

Awesome comparison. I was between the two, keep seeing conflicting data so will try both myself but leaning X also.

Derrik, how is the feel of the X? Does it feel too hard? Thanks for the info.

The X feels quite soft. The chrome tour is the firmer ball. I really like the feel of the x, especially around the greens

X feels firmer but not that firm. After playing both, they both gave tgeir advantages but for distance and stopping power, I prefer the X. It's not to skinny off the driver either. One of the highest ball speeds on the market and holds it's line. I thought I woukd like tge Tour better, but X for me

Good video. Have you noticed any fish scaling with the Callaway balls this cycle? I played the Chrome tour last week on the back 9 and 4 holes in I was already seeing small cuts in the cover. No bad lies, wasn't in a bunker. Just standard Driver, Iron's and wedges. I was very shocked to see the fish scaling that soon. I played CSX all year last year and never a hint of a durability issue.
