In a 49-year-old-man with varicose veins of lower extremity, claudication, and heaviness, Doppler ultrasound showed great saphenous vein (GSV) insufficiency. Endovenous radiofrequency ablation of GSV after tumescent injection was done. Ultrasound guided vein puncture was done. Due to difficulty in catheter delivery, the wire was introduced first, and the catheter was applied over the wire until it reached about 2 cm away from saphenofemoral junction. Afterward, foam sclerotherapy of varicose veins and compression bandage appliance was shown.
