In this episode:
Western nations long interpreted Hitler's radical foreign policy as a repudiation of the Treaty of Versailles. Thus, the National Socialists used the years from 1936 to 1938 to prepare for the next war.
The Third Reich lasted for 12 years, 3 months and 9 days. It began with great hopes and unprecedented jubilation and ended after a world war in which 50 million people were killed, and Germany was destroyed. This documentary series embarks on a unique journey through the bleakest chapter of German history, tracing the story of the Third Reich and painting a picture of the Nazi dictatorship behind the propaganda by utilizing what, in some cases, is previously unpublished footage.

Yes, how soon we forget. This is what happens when race based politics takes hold of a country and political movement. I find it more than amazing and down right terrifying that so many in America today...are completely ignorant to this history. The target of the race hatred is irrelevant. It never ends well. The fact that it's the minorities here, with those of the majority that think they are helping them, will make this next tragedy even more epic in its scale of innocence being slaughtered. History repeats itself... because of ignorance!

Excellent documentary. One can enjoy the superb professional narration, unlike the homemade docs where a wife or whoever narrates terribly or worse, yet when a computer is relied upon to narrate

Remember though it was hate but the campaign was run in what the people wanted! What the people needed so badly and how this change will lift up the people that have been in the mud for a long time and getting walked over We see this today in the west, foreign coming into your land demanding and getting more and more while pushing people out pushing them around and the government lets it, while they are bowing to other countries etc The people have enough! Sick and tired of being walked on and taxed to death and want what they used to have, they want their country strong and powerful again where everyone can succeed Then one man stands up above the crowd and sings the song of the people they love him! They elect him waiting for greatness…they get it, then the ruler rules with his fist and takes advantage of the people that may not happen these days again but nationalism most definitely will People are allowed to colonise the west but they can’t colonise anywhere else😂they’re brandished as evil for it? Pushing their views and way of life on other country’s? That’s not fair and people are already sick of it The government knows this but they want to keep poking the bear then say how evil it is when he snaps

How do you check yourself and stay reminded, on the side of sanity, when power goes overboard? How do you check yourself from crossing the line to tyrany or even distinguishing it. Where must the place of opposition remain to maintain balance so to coherently refute the misguided sense of "service to the people?" The world remains the battle ground of ideologies, from which entire populations are influenced, conditioned and coaxed. As most of the people of this time considered the ideals of the 3rd reich righteous enough and imperative much to die for it, so even today religious fanatics and the likes, embrace similar vague ideals for power, revenge, dominance, and or assumed utopia, all in the name of God or so; without critical examination! Whats coming would be in the manner we've never seen or heard before!

And if he were to be elected, he would love to turn America back 50 years, get even more wealth into the hands of the super rich and use his power to commit political retribution on all of his enemies(real or percieved), gut our justice system to make it his tool for personal power, pardon all those so called patriots from Jan. 6th.
