Cool video, I’ll subscribe and periodically comment about how crazy it is that you’ve hit a mile stone. Only critique I have would be to give a synopsis of the story for people who don’t know it
@@ryanmiller3330 Breakfast Club is one of my favourites too! Every time I watch it, I see something different. Is that the same for you? Sure, I have other projects/requests I need to finish first, but I can make that happen. And I'm sorry to say this, but unfortunately you won't be the first supporter...But you would be the first RU-vidr to become a supporter! Either way, it's a very kind thing to say :)
Thank you. I tend to unfortunately assume people have read/seen the movie already. But another youtuber has perhaps suggested a small synopsis which might help those who havent really watched it yet...
@ttakes I think a video like this, which is much more about the nuance and how Chronicle works and tells its story isn't going to mean much to someone who hasn't seen it, regardless of if they have a brief description of the plot, but yeah it's ultimately your decision. Just was one aspect I enjoyed.
That is true. I'm aiming for the interest in perhaps for someone to watch this film (or others I have analysed) for the first time with my thoughts in mind, or to watch it again with perhaps a different understanding that can add to their thoughts on the film. If I were to add a synopsis, it would only be a sentence or two, because I don't want to drag the whole thing along with a 'explained' kind of video (there are too many already). I like that you liked it without, and I appreciate you saying so. All in all, I want people (including yourself) to enjoy it and maybe learn something along the way (like I did whilst researching it) :)
Loved this video and also your analysis of Schopenhauer. He was so interesting to learn about when I was in college. Although some may say he is pessimistic and I can agree to some degree, I also love that he has a prescription for what he feels a good life is and that is fun. Also I love all photos of him.
His work was interesting and somewhat complicated to understand at first (especially when it came to will and representation within ourselves), but it does make sense. It's fascinating to realise that I had these thoughts about our bodies (like the example of hands) when I was younger and now I know that there is a reason why :) I'm really happy you enjoyed it!
