we are with you brother, you are not crying alone. This game changed my live in my young age (10) and I watched different on world as other kids.

I vouch. Dont let the tag "mobile gacha rpg" fool you. Its that damn good. Story, bgms, visuals, world building, gameplay and its difficulty, were top notch.

Even if you go the free route.(Im a dolphin.) There are plenty of free characters that can muscle you through the game.

@@secoTheSonicFan how far have you tried it? I never said that this is a braindead replacement of CT or CC, and i agree, but not in a bad way. I dont know how bad your sentiment about mobile games in general is, but if you like to play mobile games, Another Eden should be on your list. Nowadays' games (especially gacha) were mostly full of bullshits, fanservices, and moneygrubbing strats. But at least there are rare cases of mobile games that are good and have great stories, and AE is one of them. If you're mostly a pc/console gamer, then no wonder AE isnt in your radar (eventho its also on steam), and its fine, there are tons of amazing games in those platforms. I know Chrono Trigger is AMAZING but dont be a toxic fans and treat another games as a bad ones just because its not CT. The only things AE and CT have in common are the teams (big ones are the writer and music composer), and AE takes some elements as inspirations from it. After that its a different game. But eh its fine do what you want with whichever you liked. If you've tried Another Eden, i recommend playing it at the very least until chapter 26. After that the stories is still going on (and get better) but your choice

This is by no means a secondary creation made by a third party, it's almost an official work that the people making it are the same, just by a different company. If you are a fan of the Chrono series, it would be a shame not to play it because it is completely irrelevant without the word "Chrono" attached to it. Because this game is free to play.

@@joeyondakeys The fact that Cross' music uses so many cues from Trigger made it hit that much harder when I finally played Trigger, to see what I'd missed and what even was being referenced in Cross. I'd essentially started the "series" in reverse, so finally playing Chrono Trigger on the (admittedly inferior) PS1 Greatest Hits release, the depth of that soundtrack after decades of ignorance was a revelation just adding to how classic these titles are. Suffice to say, both games and their soundtracks are lifelong favorites of mine now, so there is no argument to be had from me. 🍻

I dont wanna be an essay guy but you have to try it. Even if you're only in for the collabs (so far there are P5R, Tales of franchise, and this soon), the game itself is THAT good. Just try it yourself.

Yeah the game actually good, dont see something like it for awhile. And it have both pc and mobile version too

Elevator pitch: It's an RPG by Kato (the guy behind both Chrono games) that as the other guy said has crossovers that never expire

The whole Chrono Cross crossover is such a fantastic love letter to the original game, fans of CC will for sure love it

I admit, I was not prepared for the punch to the feels. Played Another Eden up to chapter 13, finally unlock the Complex Dream collab story, and then Scars of Time has me tearing up like a kid. It felt the same way when I finally played Chrono Trigger after Chrono Cross, and all the odd references suddenly made sense, so the job Wright Flyer Studios did here has to be commended. It's like finally making it back to our literal "Home World".

@@warlockpaladin2261 "Another Eden" is a mobile game made by Masato Kato and Yasunori Mitsuda (two of the creators of Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.) It was created as a spiritual successor to the Chrono franchise and has a LOT of (unofficial) Chrono Trigger references, shoutouts, and Easter Eggs. "Complex Dream" is their most recent story DLC. It is a collaboration with SquareEnix that features the characters from Chrono Cross being pulled into the world/story of Another Eden. The biggest hype to come from this collaboration though, is the fact that Square extended the copyright to Kato and Mitsuda (after 20 years of denying them access.) So the fact that this dlc exists is strengthening people's suspicions of a Chrono Cross remaster/remake.

@@baeshin I haven't placed any Chrono game but wanna get into them. Watching this video, I 1000% would prefer the old graphics to whatever they did in the right picture. The old textures have a complex combination of colours and are more mature in colour tone. A remaster is the best scenario I could've asked for. (I am for example not happy with what they did with Xenoblade Chronicles 1 when they remastered that one.) I hope Chrono Cross' characters will look the same as in the original.

@@NoctLightCloud The point is to not trust this video as it's mostly the game emulated with custom textures. If you wanna play the original, go for it. Just do it the legal way. The remaster seems to be the original, just a touch nicer looking. Probably the best way to get into Chrono Cross at this point. Legal too.

@@baeshin my ps2 broke unfortunately, and here in Austria, the original is very expensive (I am not up for paying such a high price if I don't know the game). What I liked about your comment the most though was your mentioning of the legal way, cause I am also 100% against emulators and stuff like that. (especially for games that are still being sold.)

I was REALLY confused for a hot second there. I didn't know about any crossover event, and I don't know what Another Eden is. I did think it was an honest to god remake, then was wondering who all those non-CC people were. Thanks for the explanation.

This game is an RPG for smartphones and PCs called Another Eden, produced by Yasunori Mitsuda and Masato Kato, who were involved in the production of Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. Although it is not a game released by Square Enix, it can be said that it is a side story of the Chrono series. It's definitely not a secondary creation made by a fan. Serge, Kid, Tsukuyomi, and Star Child can be used in the work, and they will not leave because they will join permanently. It's so great to be able to play the story of Chrono Cross, which can only be seen in this work's crossover, for free.

Its a Remaster. After the trailer came out someone data mined Another Eden again and found new text saying "In honor of the Chrono Cross Remaster, a special Complex Dream episode is launching". The Episode is launching the same day as the Remaster is going to be announced.

The remake is terrible compared to the original.

While utterly and completely missing the originals perfect synchronicity between the music and animation.

This game is a free game called Another Eden. Complex Dream can be played for free in Another Eden, and all Chrono Cross members are permanent members. Tsukuyomi doesn't leave either. You can enjoy it without spending any money. The production company is not Square Enix, but the person who produced it is involved.
