My cover entry into Famicompo mini 9. Placed 4th out of 90!
Apologies for the out-of-sync video. My laptop still won't record sound, so once again I had to overdub the video recording with the track. I also can't access my website database for some reason, but as soon as I can, mp3's for this and my other famicompo entry will be on asap.

One of the things that surprises me the most is that the sawtooth channel wasn't used to enhance the triangle channel like most people who use the VRC6 expansion. It's quite rare to see it used as a part of the melody and/or the backup sounds. I keep listening to this on repeat because it is such a great remake of a great song. Please make more great songs like this with FamiTracker.

Why: These two tracks have the same length, so "There'll Always Be Next Year" can fit with the credits of Chrono Trigger.

When you started shelling out the "chiptune stuff" with the fast moving notes and such I first thought I'd hate it, but to be honest you made it fit perfectly. Love this arrangement, must have taken a lot of work and effort. Congratulations.
