We, travellers, athletes, adventurers, are always keeping an eye on the timer ...
Counting every second to the next destination, the next race, the next challenge.
Because this crazy rhythm moves us.
Because this crazy rhythm moves us.
Because conquering and overcoming inspires us. ( Petrus, essa frase em Inglês ficou engraçada, o overcoming sozinho ficou engraçado, tipo overcoming what ? )
And because the fight against ourselves does not stop.
Until we were forced to hit the brakes, as we confess, we had never done it.
We humbly discover that we are not in control of everything.
With more time to look inside, we find ourselves more sympathetic.
More human.
More resilient.
A lesson that we will take forever when all of this is over.
How about those timers ?
Well, they keep turning: now counting seconds for the day when we can say: we won!
