Omg I was so surprised to see on instagram the review thumbnail of the doll!! I am happy that you love her, and yes I did the stitch by hand on the vest :). I was kind of inspired by Blythe for her look, like a medieval 70s hippie flower kid girl. There is a lot of work for each doll because it is all made in my living room, and it is also a lot of experimenting, testing, fail and success. Presently I am working on the last Chuchu, I am making them for 2 years now, so I decided to create a new doll and start something new :)

That Chu Chu logo is soooo cool! Very 60's shagadelic! 😜 And she is very reminiscent of those funky characterful dolls from the late 60's/early 70's! I love how he included the concept sketch for her! Her accessories are SO cool ... Especially that lava lamp! Those magazines are fantastic, too... love that the back cover vintage advertisements were included, and it just wasn't left blank.That Gordon's Gin one is soooo cool. I now wanna be the editor-in-chief of BONA magazine! LOL🤣 The inside of the box is super-groovy too... I love that mirror! What a great idea. Her look very much reminds me of that 60's Illustrator who worked for Biba a lot called Bobby Hilson, and the illustrations from Miss Biba herself, Barbara Hulanicki. Love her clothes, too... so much detailing! The pressed flowers in the stand are also a very nice touch. You have to bring her and her accessories over the next time you visit. Or I have to come over and see her if she is too precious to lug around. (On a sidenote: LOVING the 70's 'Mod Hair Ken/Now Look Ken' moustache!!!)

She's so unusual with her prairie dress and big hair kinda like a 60's country singer mixed with a Margarete Keane illustration...
