other than lennon/mccartney, chuck berry is the most profecient rock and roll song writer of all time. he captured the true spirit of the genre and took it to musical heights unimaginable prior to 1955. and the covers of berry's music are probably the best covers of any songwriter. back in early 70's dave edmunds released what i think is the quintessential cover of this song; The Promised Land. and i loved your rendition to one of my favorite berry tunes. good job and thanks for the performance!
With all my respect to the great Chuck Berry --- "but" :-) ;-) each version Elvis did --- Elvis is now "the original" :-) as on at least on each Elvis cover version - THE KING owns nearly each song as he did his version! ♥ Great done by you!

I actually heard Elvis's version before I even knew it was chuck berrys song :) So I've always had Elvis's version/ lyrics remembered. I sorta prefer Elvis's version though hahaha
