Glad still butt hurt on treach walking out on him but fails to comprehend why. Treach is like this dudes a dummy he cant connect the dots... Glad probably had a very hard time finding wheres waldo...
Treach one of the few real ones man. He was a true ride or die homie for Pac. Anything Treach says on Pac you might as well take as Gospel. But people keep asking him about Pac he's gonna get mad all over again every time and you gonna notice bodies on the streets right after. Between Treach and Tyson......people gotta watch what they say.
I miss the way hip hop and alternative music shared a similar anti-materialist message, there used to be nothing worse than being a 'sell-out', now it's the height that hip hop aspires to there is an argument to be made about building wealth in black communities to prevent outside agendas of pure greed, but on an individual level the display of wealth is empty, vacuous and vain
2 days ago, they arrested 5 ppl for the murder of the rapper Pop Smoke. Earlier in the day he was killed, he did and Instagram post, he was in a vehicle friend who had stacks of cash in his hand, he showed gift bags, and he gave the address where he was in the Hollywood Hills. Nothing was taking, so it must have been a hit.
@@mauricejones3387 im from that era , and Mr T was rocking that shit first , Run Dmc didn't start rocking that shit until like 86 , with LL, Rakim , Eric B , and them niggas , and a lot of rappers back then was copying the drug dealers like Alpo , A.Z and other drug dealers around N.Y.C
If you noticed what Treach said he implied that Orlando Anderson didn't kill Pac. Treach implied during that skit that the "FEDS" both killed Pac & Biggie.
Sounds crazy but I'm proud this generation gets a lil feel of one of the Pillars of this culture.. This man literally raised me!! P.E...begets....De la Soul (my beatles)...begets.... Wu Tang... ...begets ...Digable Planets (MY SPIRIT ANIMAL!!! Fav group!!)... begets.... Outkast...begets...Kendrick ✌🏾🤘🏾✊🏾
It reminds me of the Key and Peele skit where the rapper was trying to walk out of the interview and he got himself tangled in the cords on the way out
I see where Chuck D is coming from cuz ppl rob others for gold chains and wear is materialism I don't wear jewelry myself or wear expensive clothes I mean who I gotta impress
Him and Run chipping it up. Beautiful. How beautiful it would have been to see PAC and Biggie doing that in 2030. Damn man. Miss them. Appreciate you Chuck.
Say what you want. Glad gets us good jewels from 2pac legacy. Gotta love it and respect it 💯💯💯 if it wasn't for Glad would never got these good Pac stories!
Type in Quincy jones on what really happened to Tupac he says girls tempted him out the car n when he got out a guy in a bow tie with a machine gun shot him. Not Orlando, iv just put the clip on my channel, the game even says wish i could of told pac and big about the rampart scandal
My mom took me to that tour in Sacramento at Arco arena. I was in the 7th grade. PE, Latifah, Big Daddy Kane, and Digital Underground. K-9 posse was the opener lol
LOL LOL So the crowd thought they were getting a $20,000 gold rope chain for free. I could actually see some of those fans going to the pawn shop afterwards.
This interview is simply dope. Chuck is brilliant. I’m amazed at his vast knowledge and accuracy. U got this wun rite Vlad. How about Whodini, kurtis blow, MC REN (new 1) Scarface (🙏🏾) foxy brown! Delroy lindy, melee Mel !!!!!!
Damn Shaq calls Chuck D Uncle but in this day and age Shaq's looking like Chuck's father, folks sure age differently, moral of the story take care of your physicality folks
They were mostly snatched by drug addicts 2 get some quick $ but people wasn't snatching em 2 wear 4 themselves cuz if u know bout Herringbones u smash or crimp that bad boy and get a crease/bend in it, it was over 4 that chain! 🤣 u ain't gettin no bend outta that. Either sell it or kept it down 4 something else. Then chains was too delicate.
Its apparent chuck has some Indian/native american blood in him. Combined with that west african lineage, rebellion and warrior blood runs through his veins strong
Told you vlad a few years back before your channel was big interview old school rappers. They have the best stories to tell. They have amaxing stories to tell. Let's get the stories out there.
"Same Song" is really good song. Just flows like an ensample should. Key moment at the 7:00 mark. Cliches, buffoonery, and gimmicks became the money maker over insight.
@@commoncentz3148 Hopefully not now, but I was there at Keesler AFB, 1972, not many years after him, and they still had White and Colored bathrooms in Downtown Biloxi.
@@commoncentz3148 That's true, and I don't want you think I am putting down the people of Mississippi, and I digging at racism. I had a great time there in the AF. Met many, many great bros and sis. Biloxi, Gulfport, and Pass Christian were 3 places I spent lots of time, and mom's family was only 60 miles away in New Orleans. The last state to ratify the Amendent before Mississippi was Georgia, and they did it in 1865.
@@commoncentz3148 I don't live there so you can speak better to that than I can. I am only speaking to the politics, and I hope Mike Espy wins the Senate. I have been over the country and don't think you can categorize people by region. I take everyone individually. I have been hurt more by my own people, because I've live amongst them, than I have been by any other race. Not adding in systemic racism that's always been an issue in this country.
