As a former cast member, thank you! Lol. I had good memories being in costume and giving guests the true experience. The challenging parts were definitely being kicked/grabbed on, and being disrupted when trying to perform with the voices during birthday shows, which was likely when every table in the show room was packed with birthday parties. Some guests even started to sing happy birthday during other parts of the show without going along with the show when the part came. Otherwise, when I was performing during a show, there were just as many who watched me entertain them and enjoyed watching Chuck E interact 😁.
The Poke Hunter keep in mind that it is hard for a person inside the costume to see. It's basically a safety concern to guests and the person inside the costume.
this is when CEC was in its absolute prime, and the performers in the suits actually cared and was full of energy. Now I don't even think they clean their costumes anymore, and they just hire people on the spot without them going through "CEC University". Crazy but expected, all CEC wants is money now, they don't care abt their customers or anything else.
the "no writing" rule must be new. I remember as a kid Chuck E would sign his name on shirts and stuff. I think he even signed a balloon from my birthday
If I worked there as a Chuck E. Cheese-dressed guy, I would pretend I cried when that happened and then I would “run” to the Chuck E Room. I guess that teaches kids about anti-bullying cuz they’ll feel sorry for Chuck E. Cheese :P
Kids are trying to make connections whatever way they know how. Sadly, a lot of kids are raised with physical punishment aka physical abuse, authoritarian parenting and verbal punishment aka verbal abuse, which made them become terrifying overtime and they just don’t see any examples of how to healthily give & receive attention from others.
The Chuck E at my store used to walk around every once and awhile. Sadly, he now only comes out during live shows, and even that’s not guaranteed. And even if he does, he tries his best to leave as soon as he does the “ticket splash”. :,(
@CEC Bloomington Chuck would TRULY be real now! Bret Iwan was Mickey Mouse in several Disney Park interactions! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uCgrJ0kq6tE.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ziD8BuJTOAg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vjDlW_wWCT8.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V1xNeyNC0rc.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v5wC-dBx7-Y.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-762-tHwnAHg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QfkWftUCH78.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ek36On-FEbU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HUPB1ddpfs8.html He and Duncan need to say hi! =D
3:06 "While in the costume, don't talk." What if you are one of his official voice actors (Duncan Brannan, Jaret Reddick, Jeremy Blaido, John Widelock, or Scott Wilson)?
I remember when I was at Chuck E. Cheese for my 9th birthday in 1994, the Chuck E. Cheese costume had a tail, and a bunch of kids were trying to pull it off. Now I know why Chuck don't got no tail for newer costumes :-P
Thought 5: You know, Chuck E. March should have been the song only at the start of every Chuck E. Cheese gameroom meet and greet appearances when there’s no one in the showroom because most guests didn’t see Chuck E. Cheese come out of his door and hardly anyone didn’t see him make his entrance until one of the parents or other guests saw him. Chuck E. March is my favorite CEC live show because it sounds like an hourly Chuck E. gameroom meet and greet when there’s no one in the showroom because of the lyrics “How we love to be together”, “He wants to see your big white grin”, & “I’m happy to see you, I want a hug”. Another reason why I think Chuck E. March live needs to be a gameroom meet and greet song at the start of Chuck E. Cheese gameroom meet and greet appearances is because I don’t want gameroom guests feeling left out when a birthday show is performed in the showroom. The Chuck E. March live walkaround gameroom meet and greets are a great idea to follow the policy: “Every guest must see Chuck E. Cheese”. Remember the Chuck E. Intro announcements in the Pizza Time Theater audio reel to reel showtapes? That’s why I think Chuck E. March live needs to be mandatory to play for hourly Chuck E. gameroom meet and greet appearances when there’s no one in the showroom. It also should have been started manually via the show control panel or DVD menu instead of automatically. There also should have been a video black prerecorded announcement calling guests to come to the gameroom at the beginning before the majestic and beautiful fanfare, the lights blinking beautifully along to the fanfare and the video footage for Chuck E. March starts. The song and lyrics for both the 1993 and 2001 versions of Chuck E. March sound beautiful, to be honest with you. For noncrowded hours, it should be started manually via DVD menu or the show control panel when Chuck E. Cheese is fully dressed and ready to come out into the gameroom. The volume must be turned up loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear the Chuck E. March song. For crowded hours, when Chuck E. Cheese is entering into the gameroom, then a cast member should start the full audio version of the Chuck E. March 2001 live show on CD boombox and turn it up loud for the gameroom to hear. This is what corporate should have done instead of the automatic live show feature because I have read reviews from locations that Chuck E. didn’t come out at all when the song started from lame Dance Floor locations, Studio C HD locations, Studio C locations and Circles of Light locations. The automatic live show feature is a failure, to be honest with you. Why in the world would corporate put in the Birthday Break 1993 thing with music from Trivia #7, Question #2 from Trivia 5, Question #2 from Trivia #7 and Question #3 from Trivia 7 after the Chuck E. March 1993 live show footage and also add the Birthday Star 1992 Video Black Live Show at the end of the Chuck E. March 1993 SVHS showtape for CEC Stage (1 Stage, Road Stage, and 2 Stage), C Stage, Rocker Stage & 3 Stage shows? The 1993 version of Chuck E. March live also should have been mandatory to play only the start of every Chuck E. Cheese gameroom meet and greet appearances when there’s no one in the showroom. I found out in a RU-vid video at the El Paso, TX CEC location that there's a countdown at the start of the Chuck E. March 1993 SVHS showtape. In the 2-minute part of the countdown, the announcer should have said: “Get ready, get set, Chuck E. Cheese will be singing and dancing into the gameroom to say hello to you live before your very eyes! Now that’s entertainment!” and a video black prerecorded announcement with the announcer calling all guests to come to gameroom after the Chuck E.’s Animal View intermission when the countdown is ending before the Chuck E. March song starts. Thought 6: They need to childproof the Chuck E. Door, like putting a level handle lock, pinch guards and/or a door knob lock.
Even though I'm 21 years old but I'm a kid at heart because it's because I have spiecal needs. I think it's wonderful a kind-hearted person who has a very big heart and loves singing and dancing with the kids. I think Chuck E. Cheese is real even though I know it's a kind person in a costume. I have always loved going to Chuck E. Cheese ever since I was little and I still want to go to Chuck E. Cheese for my 22nd birthday!
I’m in my 20s too. I’m Autistic. I kinda wanna have my birthday at CEC, as long as it’s the one near me that has Studio C Alpha. Not the one by my local mall, which used to have Beta but now has just the stupid dance floor. By the way, can adults be the guests of honor for reserved birthdays at CEC (not just walk-ins)?
So this one time, I was at Chuck E Cheese with my teenage sister and my six year old cousin. My cousin was so scared, she ran to the jungle gym. We told someone in a Chuck E Cheese suit about it, and when we got there, I told her that they're just Animatronics. She then noticed the man, and she screamed "PURPLE GUY ALERT!" I ended up climbing in there and telling her the man wasn't Purple Guy. (I accidentally talked about FNAF while she was in the room a week earlier)
The thing that's confusing is, how kids are able to think Chuck is real when there's the person wearing the costume and a animatronic Chuck performing on the stage.
I think I might work here after I work at Worlds Of Fun as my first job when I'm a teenager. I'm still in Elementary school, but I like entertaining people and I like seeing them smile! > ♡
My brother played Bill Bob at Showbiz Pizza get quite a lot. I did a few times too. I played Chuck too. I have the old costume with the red derby and vest. I've been Santa, Winnie the Pooh,a Ninja Turtle, a clown and the Easter bunny. I'm a versatile actor!
I worked at Chuck E. Cheese for about 15 years and I trained a long time I got the hang of it on the costume and I accidentally poked a hole in Chuck E. Cheese’s shirt🤣🤣🤣
i appreciate being friendly with polite manners and when food & drinks give me energy to do creative/pretend/imaginative play “all prepositions” the artwork of mine along with themed hobbies including children’s toys, books, games, music and of course… movies and TV
One of the first times i went to chuck e cheese, i would be carried because i was scared of chuck e cheese and once chuck e cheese came out. I was pretty frightened and when he saw me crying, he approached me and now i realized that he wasn’t supposed to do that. I was still a toddler at that time btw.
The old chuck e seems alot better than the new one he would play arcades and go around tables greeting everyone that doesn’t happen anymore he walks to the front of the building and dances and he never play arcades with the kids
I am learning to be energetic as much as I can but the dance can a little difficult like the newer ones like birthday spectacular, easy dance, and easy dance but it is fun :)
Awwwww, he won't sign autographs? How are the cast members gonna explain that to the kids? Mickey signs autographs. Minnie signs autographs, and Donald signs autographs. Why can't Charles and Helen? 0:00 to 0:12 Sounds like the MSNBC Election theme. VERY patriotic. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BSgaMycEh5A.html 2:58 Awwwww, that poor little girl. :'( She's making me cry too. :'( Reminds me of some of the times I've seen kids be scared of Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Disney World. In THEIR world they are 2' 3" tall, but in OUR world they can TOWER over a young child at 4' 8” to 6' 2”. 3:06 She forgot to say "unless you're Duncan Brannan".
When I was 3 years old, I went to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's for a classmate at pre-school. When Chuck E. Cheese came up to me, I was frightened, but instead of crying like normal kids, I punched Chuck E. in the nose.
