This is an archived video showing the Sunnyvale, CA Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre Shelf Stage on a TV show. This is very rare footage, and has not been seen en masse to the public before. Enjoy! Found by pasqnotrook.

This footage is actually from the BBC's long-running documentary series in the UK called ''Horizon.'' I remember trying to upload the whole thing but they block it.

Munch has a really unique arm movement, witch makes me believe the cylinder in his left arm was put in his right one because the left one was on the door

Isn't that CEC PTT ( Chuck E. Cheese - Pizza time theatre ) Which got closed & re - opend as SBP ( Show Biz Pizza ) ?

The only case I’ve known where the UK has been exposed to Chuck E. Cheese. Munch seems to have a different arm movement than the standard Cyberamics. Are these prototypes?

No, just rather early, I think. Sunnyvale opened in January 1981. Munch has an arm movement and swing both in one hand because his other hand is attached to the door. Extra detail, Pizza Time Theatre did open stores in Hong Kong. Hong Kong was technically under the UK. So, in a way, PTT was in the UK passively. Also on a sidenote, a PTT was planned in Ealing, England. It never opened, however.

@@midwesternretailthis is the closest time Chuck-E-Cheese has ever been to Europe (not counting the French vocation that opened in not counting location in 1984.)
