5 NIGHTS AT CHUCK-Es.... a classic look at what Chuck-E-Cheeses looked like in 1984.
Retrontario’s primary mission is the preservation, research and exhibition of rare videotape recordings (1970s to 1990s) recorded off of any and all Ontario (and surrounding area) TV channels; footage which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. We also hope to create an ongoing oral history of this content through comments left below the videos. The chain never made it to Saskatchewan. Maybe they were afraid Chuck-E would be attacked by farmers fearing a rat infestation. 😛

@@aidanmurrayfellin6064Same here and with the scene at the beginning. The thing is we don’t have any pictures or videos of its balcony stage or showroom at that time so we don’t know what it looks like (I’ve seen videos of it in 1990). But they still look very similar.

It’s Willowdale. The reason? Because in some footage from 1990 showing the games and the showroom. The showroom had glass windows which no other CEC had with the PTT logo sticker on it which is showed in the video.

I used to work at the one at Vic Park & Sheppard. Child labour laws constantly broken and after seeing how the food was prepared I never ate there again. Put me off all fast food actually.
