I can't believe this teaching!! If I didn't know better I'd say this was taught today.

I got to know Chuck a few months after I was saved in late 1973 at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (which is where he is speaking in this video) I traveled with him to Athens, Malta and the Greek islands on the "Lost Anchors" voyage. Getting to know him better and this trip was one of the high points of my life. He was a big influence in my Christian sanctification. I Look forward to seeing him in Heaven.

I was born again in 1984 and found Chuck Missler on the radio a few months later. He was like an oasis in a very large desert from which I drank deeply for 25 years and still return for refreshing frequently. I felt I had lost a good friend and mentor when he died. I am warmed when I remember attending one of his weekend workshops and was privileged to actually hug him and thank him personally for all he had done for me. I feel sure he and Apostle Paul are having many energetic discussions ❤️

I have followed this very wise men for a long time. All of his statements have not changed to the present time right now. We need to keep our eyes on the Lord and on his word. God‘s plan is perfect though we can’t see it at times. Chuck’s teaching are phenomenal.

Honestly, these "old" videos... were saying old, as it is only getting older with the passing of time, and to think the 90s wasnt that long ago, and yet it is... This videos of chuck missler, chuck smith, i consider INVAULABLE gems, that NEED to be seen/heard, and i pray to be preserved, why? Bc it is truth. And these guys cared so less about politics, and simply conveying the truth of God, and the reality we face. As it said in Ecclesiastes, "there is nothing new under the sun" Thank you for uploading. Personally im so sick of the "modern" perversion and prostitution of "christianity", and yet we can have peace of mind knowing, all these issues were foretold in the bible. Chucks insights and treasure hunting in the scriptures is thanks to the Holy Spirit and glory be to God. Chuck lack serious faith, he moved to New Zealand in FEAR of a northern hemisphere nuclear exchange. Now he and his wife are buried thousands of miles away from loved ones to come visit. Faith pleases the Lord.

People don't actually get it, so frustrating. If I speak at all from my years of studying philosophy and gnosticism, I get scoffed at and told I'm wasting my time. But the second I qualify my statement with Chuck Smith, oh now what I'm saying is crystal clear, absolutely true, and obvious even! Mhm. Can't really trust people's ability to nod along. They might agree or disagree, neither of which means much of anything if they don't understand.

I was able to attend his Friday evenings at CCCM. He used to fly from Coeur d'Alene Idaho down weekly to teach at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He had relocated from Big Bear, CA due to the earthquake.

Just realized this is Chuck Smith’s Calvary Chapel, Missler’s home church at one time. I believe it was Smith who encouraged Missler to teach Scripture after his last bankruptcy (Western Telegraph?) .
