You have to think that we are on the verge of this next era, creating the next move of God like we've never seen before. But the Lord had to determine his new remnant who is gathering, who is being called, where are we being called to and how are we recognizing where we're to be. So think about me all of a sudden from 550,000 miles in one year to zero. I had to say, “All right, Lord, I don't want to just say I hope this gets over soon, so I can get back and go all over China again,” because I knew God was doing something in me finally.
He said, "I want you to start over in your backyard." Well, and I did. And finally, he said to me, "You have been faithful throughout the years to go every place I've sent you." And I thought whether I wanted to go or not go. And some with Cindy Jacobs that I wish we hadn't have gone. We went into one big temple in Vietnam in Hanoi to try to pray through. And I mean, that place was so bad. And I said, "I cannot," you had to go through levels in it.
I said, "I can't go any further in this. I don't want to have to deal with the spiritual warfare for the rest of this trip. Cindy said, "Well, you're coming anyway." That's the way my life has worked most of the time. But the Lord said, "Because you've been faithful, I want your boundaries to change. I want you to start recognizing the cities I'm calling you to, the places I'm calling you to, the people that you're really aligned with." There was a redo of who we were, because he said, "I have a future for you."
What does the word future mean? In Hebrew, it means an expected end that you have never gotten to. See, so with this expected end that we're all pressing to right now, it's amazing what's going on in us. I actually believe that call for the baptism of the Holy Spirit just wasn't for those who have never spoken in tongues, I believe God is saying, “I'm ready to baptize my people again.” That's what you find biblically: in every new era, there's a new baptism.
So get ready. We all about to be baptized. That brings me to where we were earlier tonight. This is an era called Peh in Hebrew, which is linked with wind or voice or mouth. It's also a Holy Spirit word. This whole era we are moving toward this new wine skin, not a wine skin that we've really ever drunk completely out of. We're moving toward this wine skin that is going to be explosive.
Now that's a New Testament word, an overcoming charisma is about to hit us. In it though, we have to understand this is an era of war, not an era of peace. The Lord said, "I didn't come to bring peace. I came to bring a sword." There's so much dividing asunder going on. Now that's the right word to say it. The word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edge sword, piercing down deep into separating our soul and our spirit and causing that word to go deep into our bone marrow. Your bone marrow is shifting because God is shifting us from heaven.
There are words in Bishop Hamon that go back 70 years. Suddenly, God's going to send a word and cause one of them to come alive and sprout. So get ready, you're about to sprout some things that you've never sprouted before - they've been there, but they haven't sprouted. You're going to wake up with divine memory.
