Why should players who are professionals be held to a lower standard than a fan?

There's a big difference between violence and words. There's also a big difference in a broad generalization for humor and attempting to intentionally hurt an individual. And thirdly, if you are going to attempt to hurt someone, you better fucking not cause collateral damage to the people around your target.

@@noahisuku5338 The reason that it isn't soft is because the fan would have been permanently banned and had criminal charges brought against him had it been the other way around. I do agree that they go in way too hard on all of it tho. 100% the need to lighten up a little over all.

In this video, PV threw the ball into the stands and it hit a lady, dude tosses it back (softly even) to PV then PV chucks it back at him, who I can only assume was his original target. Tell me what I got wrong... and maybe you should take my lead and re-watch the video before coming back at me.

Getting hit in the head with a basketball by a professional basketball player has got to hurt so bad. That is absolute assault and he should be arrested. I was always on the fence about Pat Bev but now I have zero respect for him.
If a fan threw something at a player on the bench/court that hit them in the head, then immediately proceeded to do it again, only with more force, said fan would be not only ejected, but subsequently arrested, and banned from that arena for life. The Pacers should show some balls and ban Beverly from playing at their arena for life.
Can't blame Pat Bev when the NBA encourages this type of behavior. A 10 game suspension for these guys simply means they get more time in the summer off. I'm sure the NBA and its PR team will make up some story where the fans were racist or some other BS.
Pat Bev has been one of the most overrated players in the NBA for the past five years. Every year teams pick him up thinking he going to add this missing ingredient to take them to the next level and every year they find out he's actually a bum and he gets traded. A dirty, unhinged players who no longer has any game who is living off his past rep. Maybe he did this because he's about to retire and has nothing to lose?
