Not the easiest way more like the most lackluster way. There are so many better cuts that could have been gotten out of that that were just completely missed I mean you got a couple of Great cuts that most people do miss but you missed so many amazing cuts too just to make the whole thing basically a bunch of roasts. That thing could have made so so so so so so so many damn good steaks. Especially with how big it is. Especially considering there's a couple steaks you only get from the chuck roll that is really really good but also you usually only get maybe four of them out of the whole roll. This thing was so big you could have gotten 8

@@wcmeats well actually the point of your video was actually supposed to educate people about how to put your head and break it down is what you said. You did NOT say that "this is how I cut it up for my supplier cuz this is how my supplier [or my retailer] wants it" and also don't you see the little catch 22 there if you're only cutting one way how could you sell more cuts of the other way?? Oh that's right you couldn't. So actually it's not really what you sell more of it's just what you produce and have available to sell because it's how you do things. Not actually what's selling because of it is what was actually selling then you would do both cuts and both ways and you would say this one sells more than the other. But you don't you just only do one way and one kind of cut and if you only do one way and one kind of cut then you don't have the other cut around to sell and if you don't have the other cut around to sell then you truly don't know that your way sells more than the other way because you're not doing the other way.

I need a tip! How often to sharpen the knife between cuts... Every few? Or maybe after finishing a full breakdown primal??

It is really up to the butcher, once you feel like it is not cutting the way you want is when i would recommend sharpening!

It is all edible. When the SHTF, which is coming there will be an appreciation for even eating beef.

We typically do not cut denver steaks! Check out our recent video which shows where and how to cut/trim them!

Frankly, anyone can just chunk up a chuck roll, no denver steaks cut, no sierra steak, all great flavorful steaks from the chuck roll, and still plenty for grinding fresh ground chuck, and or stew meat. I like to get all the steaks out of the beef that I can, you can always roast meat from the rest of the roll if that is what you want.

Yeah I feel the same. My 8 year old can cut slices. Wasn't that impressed. Certified Angus channel has a way better breakdown
