Pretty disappointed in this release and in Hasbro as a whole. They released a misassembled figure and decided not to mention it or make an exchange for a properly assembled piece to make things right with their fans. But instead of just leaving well alone they go and rerelease the same figure, of course minus the additional paint, with the shoulders mounted the “correct” way. With practices like this I’m not upset when fans return their old figures to stores after taking out the updated ones from the packaging. I see it all the time and it disgusts me, but on this release it feels like Hasbro deserves it. These things aren’t cheap, but Hasbro has this idea that you get what you get and don’t get upset.
Just got this figure and have to return it. I don't have the misassembled shoulder, but a misassembled shoulder HINGE, specifically the right hinge. The peg on the black shoulder part won't clear the gap on the purple double hinge, because the the wrong hinge was put on during production. For how much these things cost, this is disgusting, and there's no excuse. Good review, though. 👍
About kickback: nemesisprime the youtuber? I didn't see a review on his page. About Galvatron: what episode in season 3 does it reference? That's an interesting point - I've never heard of the battle damage referencing an episode.
I don't know if he's a youtuber, just posted some pics on seibertron.com. It was the first episode of season 3, Cyclonus pulls him out of a lava bath. You see some sparks coming off his head, indicating the mental damage Galvatron will have for the rest of the series.
