He tells his wife that he’s not gonna make it in time for dinner and after he finishes that call, he calls a woman named Gabriela and says that he’s going to bring vodka with him to her. I don’t know why guy who is an executive at this successful company would even have an affair, his wife doesn’t respect him enough or ain’t paid enough to do his job

I had this on VHS almost 30 years ago and something has always bugged me with the DVD and Blu Ray versions I’ve watched since then. I seem to remember a scene where Mattson first calls his wife and makes up a lie about staying for work and then calls his mistress and they have the vodka convo. Wonder why they deleted that bit.

I feel like that scene was included on the VHS copy I owned in my teens back in the early 90s. My memory could be playing tricks on me but that scene is so etched in my head that it feels strange to not see it in any of the DVD/Blu Ray/streaming versions.

And I’m honestly not even afraid of Chucky, never was when I’ve even 1st saw it. Though I kind of saw the trilogy backwards order because I saw 3st at friend’s house unaware what it even was at the time.
