This was ALWAYS my favorite skit from The Hudson Brothers Shows..!!!!

“Hey Margolis” haha This bit still has me laughing to tears. I wish I could watch all of them!

I had the biggest crush on these guys back then as did all my friends ,they were the best. I showed this skit to my grand kids and they laughed as hard as i did goes to show ya good comedy never gets old.. Thanks for sharing oh what memories the 70s were the best decade in my book !

I loved Mark Hudson. I was a little girl when this show came out but I loved them.

I’m 58 and for some reason “Hey Margolis!” popped into my head today. I decided to check RU-vid because everything is on RU-vid! Thanks for posting this! I laughed as much today as I did 45 years ago! (omg, has it really been that long??)

Man it still holds up..god they were funny.

I saw in an interview, that they only shot one Chucky skit for the first show, and that was it. They finished filming the shows, before the first one aired. The skit went over so big, they had to go back and shoot more, to be inserted into the other episodes. Always loved Chucky.

I saw a picture of the Hudson brothers on Facebook and came here to find this!! I had the LP of them and never forgot Hey Margolis! Even though I did forget where it came from.

This is brilliant comedy. The Hudson Brothers were the best comedy trio since the Three Stooges and the Ritz Brothers. Thanks for bringing them back.

Oh man the Hudson Brothers summer show was golden and it seemed inappropriate to me that they were relegated to Saturday morning after the very successful run of this show. Chucky, Rod Hull and Emu....so much fun. And guess what else? They were awesome musicians who wrote and performed great music.....it's too bad they weren't taken more seriously for their music just because they did comedy too. Why did Tony Orlando and Dawn get a fall show and not these guys? Thanks for posting. Awesome memories for me.

I thought that the Hudson Brothers were pretty good for a summer replacement show, but I mostly watched the show for this segment. I guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree, the Hudson kids got a healthy of dose of comedy chops from the Hudson-Hawn families.

these real life brothers all went on to have great successes.. the narrator, here, bill, married goldie hawn. then, fathered two children; now, also, celebrities.. kate hudson. & her brother; & star of tv.'s '3 simple rules', & 'nashville', oliver hudson. bill is currently married to actress; cindy williams, of tv.'s 'laverne & shirley. the mustached brother, mark, went on to write/ produce well known artists/ albums; like cher.

They were so much better at being funny than singing.

Sorry..not funny in 2021.. back in the 70s,when I was in junior high,it probably was funny but fortunately, I grew up.If they were the next big deal,why doesnt anyone Remember them now? Why don't their songs get played on the classic 70's music stations(Spotify etc)? Because they were nothing note worthy then and even less than that now.

This is the worst shit I've ever seen in my life. I watched this show with my mom when I was 6-7, but couldn't remember it clearly. It's almost hard to believe how terrible this was
