This is the only 80s horror franchise to have told a continuing story for 35 years, kept most of the same actors, and where the original creator has been in control all this time. Don, how'd you do it?
@@IDKwhy156 The actors that played Glen and Glenda at the birthday party were too old to retake their role that's why they've been recasted but instead of having 2 different actors playing the twins we have 1 actor playing both of them.
2:16 Chucky has never built bombs on his own before , he must have learned this from Glenda who is talented in building explosives , remember her pink bomb in season 1 which blew up Chucky's old house. This is kind of heartwarming in the sense he originally wanted a son who would be a killer. Glenda must of won Chucky over when he began to see just how much she was like him.
omg im so confused.... everyones like omg glen and glenda... but i dont remember them making an appearence tho.... what other movie or show have they been in???
@@audaciouschocolate2453 If you remember from Seed of Chucky, Glen was confused about his life. Then Glen became Glen/Glenda towards the end. And when Jennifer Tilly had the twins, both personalities went into separate babies.
@@deepanshghosh1313 yeah there might be a pattern there. I don't know if it's completely intentional or not. But I did notice how season 1 was like Child's Play 2 and this season seems to be more like Child's Play 3. If there's more seasons. I wonder if they will more like some of the other films. We'll see.
@@deepanshghosh1313 oh I know. The intro song is something I noticed right away, which I loved. Child's Play 2 had the best theme for Chucky in my opinion.
@@breakops5339 aint even consider that till now n im startin to see That new movie mashed in here to with his army like the bald chucky kinda represents his different versions like wen kaslan Chucky had those teddy bears vers of Himself the movie was bad but not boring but That's all good its back to Magic now
Possibly might have smt to do with child’s play 2 as well because 2:42 you can see a jack in the box in the background or it could just be there for the plot or yk-
Really? I think some of them look kinda cheap but to be fair they needed an army to make even one convincing doll in the chuck movies so not a major issue.....except for that one scene in Chucky 5 where they show him running at his son, that was a really crappy edit.
@@michaelmartinez692 might wanna correct the pronoun since someone else is gonna go off on you for that but me personally idc but anyways Glenda is only surprised that Tiffany likes women it’s just glen that said that Tiffany is a murderer. (At first when the first trailer came out I thought Glen was the one with the shaved head but others are saying it’s the one with the long hair).
@@LowCountryMatt Really? I am impressed ! I guess Mancini had already planned everything so that it can be released so soon ! I hope they don't get used to it as it could lead to a real decline in quality though I am not sure it's in Mancini's interest to destroy his own work. Anyway, can't wait :)
Regarding glen and Glenda’s British accent: I’m thinking maybe glen only talked in a British accent bc of the guy that had him at the beginning of Seed. Maybe glen adapted to how everyone around him was speaking and no longer has an accent??? I’m not sure just brainstorming here
Yeah, it's pretty common for accents to fade over time if you're surrounded by people with a different accent! Plus it was probably easier for them casting-wise.
Why is it the part we're the Tiffany doll shouts "Don't make me come back there?" Feels like a scene we're she is chasing Glen and Glenda like a parent scolding their child??? LOL
@@brendaloredo3058 oh ok I hope glen is a nice person who knows how that happened to him but it doesn't make sense in the movie seed of Chucky he was a boy and she was a girl idk if that's Cannon they had British voice well he did idk it's confusing lol
Come to think of it, the place where Jake, Lexi and Devon will be going looks like the Boys Home Charles Lee Ray used to be in during his teenage years. I wonder if it's the same place🤔
@@EvanSnowWolf she could have been that black glove at the end of season 1 maybe they want us to think she's dead and we find out she survived or maybe she is dead but who knows we'll just have to find out next month
People are hung up on Glen supposedly being surprised that Tiff is a murderer, or about their gender or about their British accent but I’m just shocked at how big they are. I haven’t fully seen a lot of the movies so I guess I don’t have a way to know how much time has passed but it’s still surprising. Glen and Glenda are all grown up and I’m excited to see what role they will play.
As Chucky said last season, Glenn is gender fluid, I don't think people should be that surprised or upset about him getting a gender change. Though it is weird he is surprised that Tiff is a murderer, hope they explain why in the show
@@catandotter1237 I personally think the trailer is probably taking Glen and Glenda’s conversion out of context to make it more interesting. My theory is that Glen probably said something like “It doesn’t bother you that mom’s a murderer?” As for their gender, the actor playing them is non-binary, too, so I don’t understand what the issue is. It works out for the same actor to play both then.
Still very confused on Glenda saying 'Mom's a murderer!?' Like on her birthday on seed of chucky she didn't see her mom beat thier maid/babysitter to death with a tiffany doll
That looks sick once again. But I got to say we don't see a lot of Andy. But he's got to have survived the truck incident. He's probably goiing to turn up in the last two episodes.
Glenda is short hair and Glen is long hair, right? I’m assuming cause when they step out of the car, Glen had the boots w/ pants and Glenda has the heels w/ shorts.
As a humongous Chucky fan why is it that keep making a doll just more and more not scary anymore the last season Chucky actually look pretty damn good why did they change the look of it I mean am I the only one that just doesn't care for the look of the doll this season
I mean we learned in the last season the real original Chucky is dead and gone, killed off-screen between Cult and season 1, and these are all basically copycats. Most of them don't even have Chucky's memories. So, it feels like we aren't even following Chucky anymore. Just Tiffany at this point, the only remaining original villain still living.
Glen and Glenda should have been a single character played by one actress. Like give her a split personality, when she is Glenda have her not killing people. But, when she turns in to Glen make her a psycho killer 😁.
Nah Because is seed there were technically 3 kids of chucky glen Glenda and the boy who glen stole his soul and become a boy so that leaves Glenda it’s cool to have both of them or maybe the glen doll split his soul in 2 pieces and one in the boy and the other in girl
They ruined Glen and Glenda but not only not having Glen have a British accent, but also not having him be a male. I know that Glen was gender fluid, but the whole point of Glen was that he had two parts of himself, one being male, and one being female. And at the end of Seed of Chucky, they separated Glen and Glenda into two different babies, one being a male, and one being a female. THEY HAD ONE JOB. All they had to do, is rewatch the Seed of Chucky movie, and they wouldn't have ruined it. I understand it's not THAT big of a deal, but it's now a continuity error since at the end of Seed we see human Glen speaking in a British accent, and now he's not. And I'm assuming now that the same will be the case for Glenda, which in turn ruins the entire point of including them in the series in the first place. We waiting so long to see them return, and they ruined it by not including the most obvious thing, which was to make them British. And to top things off, Glen doesn't even have his deep voice. Funny how young Glen from Seed had a deeper voice when he turned human at the end of the movie, than the Glen in this show. And I understand that the actor for them is a non binary biological female, but still, it just ruins the point of Glen. Glen was only genderfluid because he had Glenda inside of him. But at the end of the movie, he was a just that. A boy. And Glenda was a girl. Because they were separated. Glen was never meant to be genderfluid as a human, only as a doll.
I have watched ALL of the chucky movies and I can say yess Glen and Glenda should be between 25 to 30. And I love how all the actors from the movies are in the show. Chucky is the best doll killer. Lol
Looks legit good but the neeka stuff is mentally rough for me,I don't even like the thought of amputation & I'm sure they'll be clips, plus I don't care for Tiff in general...but like I said looks legit🖤
@@irelynegrega502 Yea that does make since because In seed of Chucky Tiffany wanted a girl and Chucky wanted a boy but what's got me confused Is at the end of seed of Chucky Glen was put In a little boys body I'm hoping they will explain that part in season 2
@@tiffanyray464 Glenn is still in their male body. I'm guessing they just grew out their hair and put black nails on. They are still nonbinary even in a male body.
The logic behind Glen/Glenda is really simple. In seed, there was one doll body with two souls inside it. The souls of Glen AND Glenda. Glen was "taking over" the doll the majority of time, but sometimes Glenda came up (scene where she kill Joan). In the end of seed, Tiffany put Glen's soul in the baby boy, and Glenda's in the baby girl
