@@ejw3006 I have the STL Will Putney plugin and the Will Putney EZX drums AND the Kemper pack. So yes, you could say I'm a fan of Will Putney. But it's kinda disappointing as far as the catered to the dirty compressed deathcore and stuff more than just metal in general.

Most profiles are captured with no context. Tue made these while referencing real-world mixing sessions to make sure they work well with drums, bass, and other elements. Of course every mix is different but you have enough profiles in the pack to find something that will work for your song right away.
No, it's lot of post processing making it fit well in a mix, remove harsness, lows, highs. Usually with pre and post EQ. The problem with this is that it might not suit your mix. Your drum sound, bass etc.
I hate this pack for jamming alone but in a mix it cuts hard. For my own alone jam tones I go DI head profiles and find a cab I like from a studio profile and merge that to build on. Pickups that were used to fine tune the amps matter too if they add it in the notes. It can change so much in the feel to me.
The first one was good, the rest maybe in the mix but not digging it alone. Why bother to have great pickups and awesome guitars and amps when the processer is really doing all the work? I still really just use a small pedal board and good amps and cabs. Sure I could sit behind my Mac allay and produce music, it just takes the fun out of it.
