I remember taken my wife , girlfriend at the time in the eighties,I've got that whole rangers jacket scarf the lot ,got a taxi to parkhead,and the arse kicked us out at the Celtic end,,so here we are standing at the Celtic end , being spat on and abuse ,then traffic police pulled up screaming what the f,,,k are you doing here ,I said that taxi dropped us here one done the taxi driver and gave us a lift to the rangers end ,she never went back to a game lol

I used to work in the Globe in grass market Edinburgh was a known meeting ground for the CCS Capital City Service Edinburgh. WE got slaughtered, and by that I mean the pub it self and the staff as hell erupted because an unknown random walked into the pub. That destroyed my employment my pub and my local community as everyone was afraid to work or spend cash there, thinking bk id say late 80s v early 90s. bad sad days.

How anyone can condone or excuse what went down in those times is inexcusable. THIS brought it ALL back. I was bottled I was then fired for giving a ccs members child a free juice as i was tender and they had kids in the bar I paid for the drink but they grassed me up said I was handing out free drinks coz i wouldnt pull down me knickers for the man. pete calvie and andy. petes best mate andy , his mum lived in the flats next door tp the globe edinburgh and she was in need of care I and we from the pub looked in on her as a favour and this was how we were repaid I have andys second name as well as his mothers and he would admit I was there many a time when he walked in, tho not just me others from the pub. Robbed and battered sexually assaulted infront of random staff and battered just at random if you dare say a word. I was fucking glad when i went to work and forgot to blow out my candle, I was fucking gladder to learn everything burned. I never thought about that till now and I do nopt thank you for bringing it back.
