He uses it occasionally. In parts like these it's for comedy, since he usually doesn't swear to the point of saying the bigger swears. In casual he'll keep em', but in heavily edited things like this he'll occasionally cut them out since he's already edited so much anyway. Another prime example is the "failed" start to Pikmin 3's treasure game with Masae, where he said "well in that case F$&! Sh@# C&$!", bleeping each one, and leaving Masae's surprised laughter.
@@daltonobrian2596 Censoring is in it of itself comedy. The way you censor heightens the comedy. That's why South Park uses bleeps, while PG movies shown on Cartoon Network just remove the audio track. South Park draws attention, while the movie doesn't. Chugga is using subversion to make your mind mentally process the standard flow of conversation that you expect him to say. It is altered by an unfamiliar noise, which catches you off guard and makes you laugh.
@@daltonobrian2596 Right, so it's a double subversion. No subversion would be removing the clip or saying the word straight. Subversion would be censoring the word with a bleep. 2nd Layer Subversion is censoring, but in this case with the DK grunt. Take for example the famous line from Snakes on a Plane. Everyone expected the tv version to just censor the f-words, or just cut around the scene since it's not technically necessary and so unnecessarily vitriolic (spoken vitriol). So what did they do? Had Samuel REDUB his own line, and make an even hammier quote in "I've had it with these monkey fighting snakes on this monday to friday plane!". By using creative censorship the comedy is still preserved, and perhaps enhanced.
@@typostitch544 Fair enough, I just saw his avatar and his enduring fondness for another dead franchise and was reminded of all the dumb comments by out of touch fans in other videos (some which aren't related to those old games). Since Microsoft has shown they don't care about their requests they're essentially spam.
I can't believe that BW have been out for nearly a decade and in all that time, only today I realized that its name is not "Watchdog", but actually "Watchog".
@@daltonobrian2596 Late but it was the opposite for me. Preferred the goofiness of the second and Aiden was just too unlikeable for me. Both are still better than Legion though.
@@guguy00 yea. So here's the thing about the first game for me: Although I struggled at first, I was eventually able to get used to the controls and mechanics of the game. The sequel however, turned up the difficulty both in in-game and controls to insane, starting with the tutorial. I was playing on PS4 so maybe that's why. Idk though
Phoebe (Watchog): What do you mean I'm useless? I’m pretty good early-game, until I died at Reversal Mountain in Pokémon Black 2. Sunny (Rosa): Our second death. Poor Phoebe. She made it out alive in every battle, and then died in Reversal Mountain. She was such a useful Pokémon in general... I'm sad now. Rest well, Phoebe. Kirby (Samurott): Huge loss... ;-; Amphy (Ampharos): It's okay. You can use a Psychic/Flying-type Pokémon to sub in a new team member.
