Ok I just checked out the website for this brand of soda. I understand this is a healthier alternative to soda but $35 for a 12 pack of all their flavors is as ridiculous as Biden thinking he will be re-elected. $35 for 12 sodas!??!?!?!?!? Wtf has this world come to smh.

... Banana cream soda exists? Where do I get 500 cases? Edit : Welp. I would love to try it someday but there is just no possible way I can even remotely justify the extreme premium cost. Even with free shipping or subscription. 30+ USD for one 12 pack of soda I am not sure most people in the middle class in America could justify that much of a premium cost for a 12 pack of soda. Especially when even brand name on the market runs for 6-10 USD even in a time of inflation and supply chain issues. Its just pricing me and likely MOST average people right out of the idea. If I were Olipop and I was trying to get to a point of more mass appeal and profitability I would DEFINITELY be finding every possible way to reduce expense per unit and probably even a lower overall profit margin at this point in time. At least until they can get to a point of cheaper production and more mass availability so they can be more competitive and profitable in the long run. The beverage industry is by far one of the most competitive and unfair industries in the world folks. Getting to a point of real profitability and growth is limited to the point of near impossibility thanks to the giants in the industry. So you almost need to work on razor thin margins and bring down the expense and end user cost to even have a chance. Its also very, very hard to get distribution deals because that shelf space is ultra limited and ultra controlled by the big companies. You really have to make the prospect of distributing your brand to be as appealing as possible to the distributors for them to even slightly consider using some of their premium profitable shelf space for your potentially risk heavy product. So at a price point of over 30 dollars per 12 pack that distribution is going to be a nearly unjumpable hurdle. Your best bet is gunna be working a much thinner margin and lowering cost and expense in any way possible. Work your way up to 5m+ in profits. If you can get there the distribution deals will start coming more and your ability to scale down expense will rise. You will also get the attention of the big brands who may be willing to posture for a buy out or distribution rights themselves. I just don't see the current price point and distribution bringing this brand to this point. Whether its a great soda or not really. I hope they get it figured out cuz I would love to try it someday or even be a repeat customer whenever the product pricing becomes more reasonable.
