Me being a car owner I have often witness pedestrian crossing the road in highway slowly Particularly during rainy and foggy weather where even our vision is low I have came across many incidents but due to my presence of my mind I maintain my speed So to all the two to four wheeler owners please drive slow because our people are still unaware of all the traffic regulations and less presence of mind Because at the end of the day it will be our fault KUKNALIM
Very true! Students, even higher secondary students riding their bikes and scooters, (let alone for wheeled vehicles) to school, are almost all not eligible to get a driver’s license yet as they’re still under 18 years of age. They’re mostly seen overspending and driving very recklessly. The traffic personnel should intensify checking and apprehend these law breakers, perhaps even the parents who knowingly allowed their underaged child to drive without a proper license to do so!
Under aged drivers should be strictly checked and monitored. Moreover, the public young or old should use their common sense and never cross the National Highway randomly and carelessly, they should only cross the National Highway where there are zebra crossings.
Yes you're right... public should know that it's a national highway, while crossing the road. And also traffic police should punish the guy who hit the old man and run away...
Exactly! In my opinion it's both the parties fault actually , no pedestrian should not cross the road through that . Being an individual who drives it's so scary for me as people just cross without looking left right, even after honking , two three persons will in just walking occupying half of the road without paying heed to the vehicle, the vehicle have to give them side instead . Regarding underage driving also the traffic police should implement strict rules leading by parents not giving them scooty or bikes etc. Its scary they don't follow traffic rules. Even some adults don't follow.
One good thing about highways that i have seen in guwahati is that they have a fence on the footpath where pedestrians won't be able to cross the road unless they reach the end of the fence where a foot bridge is provided to cross the road. We have footbridge too but it's not merely enough. We need more
Indeed. Those boundaries are kept for a reason but people cross through that and vehicles have to be careful even on the highway as people just don't care . They will take their time crossing is what I have noticed
Nagaland is land of Christ and no place for hypochrists..all non locals if you don't like it here then go to India or Bangladesh leave us alone with our unemployment and joblessness and hopelessness... I hope it's very clear ...can't wait for Sunday to come to go to church and sing kumbaya
@@topoisonfungusgo to India the I don't have problem vit both locals/non locals bt ,,, nagaland Tu india nahoi naki... Etu pora class bunk na kuribe kua🤣
Evry sunday Nonlocals khan groud bike ride kure taki..Police should stop them n we nagas should stop supporting Nonlocals.. Specially we Dimapurian... ...
Underage chukra khn too much ase..need to take some steps by concern authority in speeding limit, not only that but also noisy silencer by those over smart bikers.
Something is really wrong in our system... So many rules but no implementation... Checking done only in their own convenient place n time, Bias rules n no outcome...
True. And also the public should also be disciplined. As you said there are so many rules but only the one who is implementing is ignoring, plus the public also is not disciplined leads to chaos. I
But i guess this is a 2 land high way for the vehicles, and it's not right way to cross in the middle of the bussy high way, where there has been flyover bridge for the people to cross the road,as per to my knowledge.
I do pity the victim.. But its a highway, it can hardly be the fault of the motorist. Whats wrong is that he ran away. Ps. It wasnt a crossing point.. We all have elders at our home.. We must advice them not to cross roads without ensuring saftey first by looking both ways.. It may happen to anyone.
Because I have in my land named baharul 16years old so do let me know if he is from 3rd mile thilixu village... I really don't appreciate this kind of situations
It's not only non locals.Being a local I have experienced first hand... Locals too are reckless. They drive like it's their father's road just criss crossing without even giving signals. And don't talk about trying to overtake from the wrong side. It's for some scooty and bike owners irrespective of local or non local.
Its wrong that the bike ran after hitting the man but one thing we must all be aware is that crossing a highway is dangerous. So even the public should know when and where to cross the highway and the government should also informed the public about it and should make a passage way to safely cross the highway. And also to check the drivers license of every vehicle or suspected underage drivers before entering the highway zone or anywhere in and around the town. Even 10 to 12 year olds are riding scooty and bike these days.
Oldman fault is, thought he has walked cross in wrong direction, wherever,in highway hv painted Zebra's cross for public safety. And boys bike's rider also has not awared speed limit that unfortunately incident has been met. May God give recovery as soon as to old man.
More walkover bridges should be installed as we could see many crossing the road without using zebra crossing. And checking of licences should be checked every now and then as we could see many juvenile's riding and driving car's and bike's.
Accident toh thikk kineka hoi she????? The motorist ran away that's not good,he should have stop his bike n do the needful. Sometime all accident(s) can't be the vehicle fault. Get well soon Uncle 🙏
Whenever this kind of accident/ incident happened, it's not good to keep asking local / non locals. Laws are equal for all. All should obey traffic rules and defaulter has to be punished if found at faults.
It is now high time to put speed meter in highway. Many times I find police checking in Highway so while crossing to saw the document it is so danger to cross because some vehicle try to run from checking so the point is I request traffic personal to check the document in both the side so that we don't need to go on the other side .
Police traffic Administration union should take strictly action this bikers or car drivers are toooo much some drivers this days speed driving means they are trying to killed some innocent people 🙏 even he/she is local or non-local teach them 1,2 year in Jail how to drive speed
Traffic personnels should take the responsibility of this kind of incidents, cos of their ignorance many drivers keep driving very fast n rash and iam sure if they check documents most drivers wont evn have driving licence or either underage.
Now a days in Dimapur there a many kachera chapris Miyas getting a 2nd hand bike specially R15 and KTM with loud exhaust and driving more than 100 in and around chumu highway area going in group....which is not only dangerous but also a menace/nuisance to public.
We cnt fully blame on driver saying he was on full speed.....it's national highway so speed should be maintained upto some limit... We puplic are to be blame here too specially those old age people usually they used the median for crossing the road instead of using the flyover bridge.......as a responsible citizens we should always advice them to used the flyover bridge for crossing the road....me too as a rider I ve come across many time from nowhere they will come up and just cross away.
True. That's what I said in one of my comment. And one guy from chumu said I was supporting the plain manu. Both parties are at fault Bikers fault -Under age driving, over speeding and the old man's fault- illegally crossing the HIGHWAY over the divider.
