sermon shots meets with you and you meet with a real person and has pretty good customer service. They keep adding features but those features are available if you pay more.

@@reachright yeah. I don’t like subscription models where you buy a product especially for a year to get a better rate and then in a couple months they say well if you pay just a little more…. That’s my get off my lawn moment. HOWEVER!! Customer service from sermonshots was wonderful. They even recovered some of my clips after the system glitched and saved me hours of work.

I am using SermonShots for my church and I’m loving it. Some things I think you missed in your review (understandingly) are the following. There are approximately 10 suggested clips generated for each sermon, with each one being editable. You can easily take lines out or add lines by simply clicking a plus or minus sign. Using this editing, you can also create a fully custom-created clip of whatever length you choose. Second, in addition to the tools you highlighted, there is a 5-day devotional created from each sermon. Each one includes a devotional thought, a verse from the sermon, a quote from the sermon, a reflective question, and a short prayer. Third, there is a recently added image quote tool. For each sermon, there are approximately 15 short quotes selected. You can choose a quote and choose from a growing number of backgrounds. Additionally, you can select a moment from the sermon from which to extract the speaker from the background and place him/her onto the quote image. It looks pretty cool. Finally, there is a feature that is scheduled to be released this week. As I understand it, it will function somewhat like the image quote tool, but it will be used to create thumbnails. Once, this feature is released, I hope that you will do an in-depth review of SermonShots. I create my church’s social media but pay for most of the tools out of my own pocket, so I am very cost conscious and look for the most bang for the buck. So far, I’ve not found anything that matches SermonShots. If you’d like to see some of what I’ve created, just reach out to me.

@@jradhouser For me, it has been. It does a much better job in suggesting relevant clips. It also does a better job with reframing to keep the speaker centered.
