@@charlieniven6558 They barely put water so they can use the leftover water to clean the patens, chalice’s, and ciborium’s after the distribution of the Blessed Sacrament. To my knowledge, the only requirement is that there’s water and wine, so it doesn’t really matter how little or how much water they put. Not sayin that cus I’m progressive or anything, I attend the TLM and even when I attend the NO I kneel and receive Communion on the tongue. I’m just pointing out why they tend to put little water and lots of wine.
LOL I was searching for "ASMR massage", but accidentally pressed enter after only typing "asmr mass" and this was the first video that came up. as a catholic, I cannot stop laughing
We all need to repent and turn to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He Loved us enough to carry a 300-pound cross and have His hands and feet nailed to it. He loves us all far more than we can imagine. It is through Him and not by our works that we can live and love. God bless.✞❤
it's inherently hilarious how human spirituality devolved from a personal meaningful thing you share with your immediate community into a series of meaningless, bureaucratic rituals performed by wealthy strangers
This is just a gross comment. The Priests of most parishes are friends of Communities. Talk to anyone who actually goes to a Catholic Church, or just any Apostolic Church, and they'll talk about their friendly Priest. They aren't a Rich Stranger. They are a good friend, entirely dependent on the Charity of the Community. The rituals in these Churches date to the inception of Christianity, testified by Extra-Biblical Apostolic works and Early Christians. They're mentioned in the Bible itself, take fulfillment of the Prior Jewish Customs. It's just ignorant and a strawman to paint Liturgical Customs and Religious Institutions as such, as it's unsubstantiated in any universal history. Did clericalism and issues exist? Yes! But does this mean we then degrade good people alongside the Bad? No! This is logically acidic, and breaks down any foundation of any institution.
Because they tell us what to do and how to live. Always giving guilt trips in any earthly pleasures. There also the biggest hippocrates. I work in the Casino industry in A/C in NJ and know Priests , Nuns and other clergy who gamble and drink. There at the tables drunk off there ass. I've dated young ladies who wanted to become Nuns who quit due to sexual harassment from the Preists. They get the worst kitchen and maintenance details. There often treated like slaves. Then the Priests offer them a better job by giving some pussy or a Bjob. Some cant take the harassment and leave. My 3rd Cousin became a Priest and left after 10 years. He told me first hand, some are Alcoholics and looking to lay the Sisters. Some join to meet other Gay men in the Priesthood. I could tell you stories to make your head spin.
When the priest moves it around and in clanks against the chain! Also, during moments of silence when everyone is kneeling and you can just hear the pews and kneelers creaking.
@@gloria7324I was baptized catholic as a child and can recall so many masses I attended. It was rare the incense burner would be brought out (and depending on which church we’d attend that day), but when it did, it was why it became such a staple of Asmr for me. Thank you for reminding me about the pews! Or the crisp, crisp pages of the rice paper in the Bible. Just all around tingly memories that made me feel safe!
This edit is so godly no pun intended. Iv been feeling anxious all night and for some weird reason this help me break my anxiety and insomnia last night.
@AX D instructions weren’t clear enough, got a household item stuck in an innocent pedestrian because my imaginary friend became so great. nah but even though i’m quite skeptical at many religious teachings (for example the concept of sin), the vibes of this video are soothing and nice. at the end of the day, i think one of the most important things are 1. to remain able to have a conversation about (and to freely question) anything. Just like science, which can always be updated upon learning new things. & 2. not to condemn love between to people in its pure innocent form (for example between lgbtq+ people, now matter how straight we are, i’m too btw) and just hearing people out instead of giving up on them. and, obviously, for heaven’s sake, ending lives of *absolutely innocent random people* who have no interest in actively engaging in any armed conflict, is about the unholiest thing I can imagine. if you believe in god, i believe he will take us to him when the time has come. actively ending someone’s journey prematurely without them even opposing any threat to you whatsoever is just so wrong. well yeah i’m addressing extreme examples of religious wrongdoing, but anyways, i’m open to talk about religion. as long as each others’ views are respected. 🙏🏼
I'm agnostic too, but was raised as a catholic. Back when the priest would bless me, I would be filled with a tingling sensation, I used to think it was the holy spirit, but nope. ASMR.
Going to Holy Mass is always so relaxing and tingly, glad I'm not the only one who gets it. Also other people whispering and their jackets crinkling in winter is just crazy ASMR. Also great for the soul ❤😊
As a boy brought ( unwillingly ) to a Catholic mass each sunday, the eucharist preperation and distribution had a most peculiar fascination with me. I always hoped it would be clearly visible and close from where we sat. The feeling was intense interest and an almost electric feeling of all my hair standing on end plus goosebumps. It wasnt until I heard of "ASMR" a couple years ago that I understood what it was. I assume people experience this to varying degrees and my experiences then must be near the very extremes possible without having a reaction someone else would notice, or maybe passing out.
“Unwillingly” as if 45 minutes every Sunday endured unbearable pain 😂 That feeling was God’s Holy presence being there with you and will always be there if you put your trust in Him. God bless you my friend 🙏
i love how the ceremony demanded water jug might as well just be decoration, seeing how each priest tries their hardest to have as little of its content reaching that wine as possible
My first asmr experience was listening to the bishop speak at church. The mouth sounds caught me off gaurd. Never questioned the feeling until much later in life. Glad I found this
I'm catholic, and though it kind of makes me uncomfortable feeling like a bit of this is somewhat unreverent in the editing, I still have to admit that these parts of mass are 100% ASMR material
i was just thinking about how much asmr i got from the communion blessings at church and was looking for smthn to replicate that feeling, this is brilliant thank you for compiling this!!
@@perecipitawe’re not. We’re supposed to let it dissolve to avoid it potentially falling out accidentally. I think it may be harder for priests since they have more to do and say after that part.
@@alforteresse thats so true, i didnt think about that and now i feel dumb lolll but it still feels wrong to me as I was taught when I was little that we were not supposed to chew it out of respect for the body of Christ too.
Infodump here, maybe tmi. Ifind huge comfort in this. Im neurodivergent and was forced to attend to church mass as a kid. The ambent made me deeply uncomfortable, with the loud and unionized chants. Those sparked anxiety on me to a point in my early years of forced attendance i would cry and beg not to go, and get dismissed and called vile names (by my own mother) for not liking it. The only part i could find good in the whole ordeal was those silent prayer moments before the partition of the Body. Everyone went silent. I could indulge in the calmness and serenity of the moment for a brief period of time. Today ive grown to endure many neurodivergent overstimulation hardhsips and looking back at those times, know what was happenid with me and my mind in that ambient, having understood the reason for my discomfort brings me peace about my religious and spiritual choices. Im glad ive found these exerpts on RU-vid.
i’m an orthodox so church can be very different in some ways, it’s never quiet when there’s a liturgy or anything like that and they burn a lot of incense (which makes me cough a lot because i have asthma) so they’re usually just very stressful and migraine inducing situations, also i’m not religious and i only visit monasteries close to me because i was baptized in one of them and in the other one i had my confirmation school, they’re very peaceful and the priests, nuns and monks are lovely, it’s always just so relaxing to go there since no one would ever dare go there to disturb anyone
yeah i was raised catholic and from my experience they only bring out the incense on special occasions, for example confirmation. However when I got confirmed even then they didn’t bring in incense because people might get allergic reactions.
I was at a mass for the first time in a while and immediately thought of ASMR while the priest was pouring the wine in complete silence... glad someone else saw it 😂
i study in Catholic school, and they make each batch sponsor a noon mass every month. and the chapel at my school is made of marble, so like there's a lota echoing, so you can literally hear the Host crunching in the priest's mouth 😭😭😭
aw yiiiis! Please do a series of asmr blessings! It's the thing that give me the most tingles and there's not a single channel with a bunch of actually good ones. It's a niche.
In all honesty though, my first interest in ASMR started when I was sitting in church and those nice quiet moments would come around and I wanted more of them.
@@CHURCHISAWESUM Orthodox liturgies are literally the opposite of relaxing. There's almost no silence. The Traditional Latin Mass (especially the low mass) is a much better option if you want moments of silence and peace.
yknow, my dad used to take me to church when i was over at his place on certain weekends, and i dont think ill ever stop feeling that warm feeling whenever i hear this kinda stuff. I dont believe in god, but i think there is something in this world, and i think no matter what, churchs are centers for community and joy. cept like really fucked up stuff some churhces do. other than that though christianity is a really wonderful thing.
