Patricia, I am not Gary Hamrick. I am a Calvary Chapel pastor at Calvary Chapel of Boston, but I posted his message on my channel because he did such a great job addressing the current election. Gary is the pastor of Cornerstone Chapel in Virginia. You can go to his website and watch more of his messages if you enjoyed the teaching. cornerstonechapel.net/ .
Great sermon Gary! I stand with you. My name is Debra and I live in Cincinnati. I listen to about 2 to 3 of your sermons every day and I also listen to your Bible Study lesson. You are on the right track and I appreciate your sermons.
Yes, we are in that process unfortunately. Frankly, many Americans would not be able to explain to a foreigner what the American ideal is, i.e. what being and American is in distinction from being part of another nation. We as a country can't pay lip service to the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence and expect to remain a nation. Surprisingly, many people in the US think we are a democracy, but that is incorrect. We are a constitutional republic. The representation in government is established a democratic process of voting. This again is a tragedy in our current election. There are an estimated 80 million Christians in the US. Half are not registered and half of them will not vote because they are taught that it is not spiritual or that it is a form of trusting government instead of God. This is a false conclusion and an unbiblical belief. Pastors are to blame for not teaching their congregations biblically. We'll see what happens in this election. It will be a turning point in our country and we will cease to be what the founding fathers intended if democrats win the election. Their ideals are clear and not aligned with the constitution etc. They give lip service to it and violate it consistently. I'm praying that the republicans will win the election and establish their policies that are not perfect, but more in line with the Bible than the democratic party. Thanks for posting.
